I can enjoy Magnolia blossoms now instead of June. . .
My Bridal Wreath Spirea is at the table again, this time woven around the handle of a watering can~
Ready to sprinkle on the delicate fields of flowers sprouting on this quilt~
Tulips are blooming. . .
Hydrangeas are flowering. . .
And the Harbinger of Spring, Daffodils, have arrived in the form of a platter & plate~
A few visitors have arrived from the garden. . .
Moving at a snail’s pace, in the form of napkin rings~

So many fun things to look at. I thought of you today when I saw a provision of bridal wreath alongside a road in Tuscany. You do wonderfully well with it.
Beautiful table Mary. I love the plates. Spirea is a favorite of mine…happy memories at my grandparents connected to this beautiful shrub.
Just beautiful! Your PB plates are so pretty and I love how you have paired them with the green plates and chargers. The spirea in the watering can is such a simple idea, but so lovely. Oh, and that sweet little birdie under the cloche is adorable.
OK…..LOVE the napkin rings and flatware! Wow!!! I have never seen those! I’m in love!!!! This is a wonderfully appointed springtime table, Mary! It’s cold (in the 50s) here in the Kansas City area, so this really helps to warm me up!
i always love a good garden table~ i was admiring those dishes too, but i have been so involved in blue that everything else has fallen the wayside… i took a long garden walk today, back to my roots, so nice to see your table today too, i would have loved to have had tea in the garden with you, then sit and gaze at your lake… heavy sigh to the good life!
I guess it’s a good thing there is no Pottery Barn on this island….I’m bad enough buying tableware without having a place that caters to all my senses….as Pottery Barn does. When I visit the mainland and find one nearby, it is a must stop…or two….and end up shipping boxes of yet more things home!!!

And another fabulous table! Wow! The floral salad plates are lovely. I like the way you have layered the dishes underneath; the green dinner plate is the perfect match. Those chargers are calling my name…I’m going to have to look for them. The quilt you have used as a tablecloth works so wonderfully with the whole ‘scape. And the bubble glasses…oh, so many lovely things you have used in this sweet spring setting!

What pretty flower plates! This is such a fresh table. The flowers make me sooo happy.
Those plates are wonderful, and you have used them in such a pretty table. I can’t wait to have blooms, Bradford Pear and Forsythia are the only things in bloom. Can’t wait for the hydrangea, I have over 25 of them, just gave them the Epson Salt treatment today!
Those PB floral dishes look great on your green dishes! I almost bought those same dishes, too. I even had them in the “cart” on the website, but got out and never purchased them. Love the soft look to the florals and the text around each plate.
Mary, seeing the bridal wreath again makes me long for our previous garden. We had them all across the back fence. I need to remember to add one to our present garden.

So much better than the tables in the PB catalog!! Yours deserves the cover! Love the plates, but the entire design makes it all work just beautifully–Vintagy but with a modern twist!!

What a lovely table. Maybe it’s just me, but I love plates that say something. I mean literally provide information about plants or herbs, or cities or countries, or holidays or something literary. It just makes a meal such fun, revealing a bit more with each bite.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the floral salad plates from PB that are in this beautiful blog? I have called 12 PB stores, catalog and outlet stores and every one of them says they are no longer available. Some one somewhere in the US must have some of these plates.
