That is my idea of the perfect brunch..
The table settings, the eggs bene, the bloody mary…
I wish I lived closer to you, I’d just invite myself over for brunch!
We have the same taste in books, it’d be so much fun to sit and sip and talk books!!!!
What a wonderful brunch, With all the time in the world, that beautiful picturesque spot by the lake, your dashing rooster at my side, I’d have to say I’d stay all day at least until noon, and try everything, pace myself with a little chatter in between, laugh, cry and dream a little in your company, and have beautiful memories of a ‘bellissima’ day!
Hi again!
Happy Alphabe-Thursday!
Have a great weekend ahead & look forward to *seeing* you again next time,
LOLA:)

Chocolate gravy? You are amazing, Mary. I’ve never seen so many delicious choices for breakfast. I think I want to visit for a week! LOL
Your table is perfection, but then yours always are. Incredible images, and the last mosaic is awesome. Thanks for sharing all the goodies! I wish I lived next door. ~ Sarah
I’m not so sure about chocolate with biscuits for breakfast, but what a wonderful setting…outside and I love the dishes with the roosters.
Next door????? I wish I lived with her! My tummy is growling just looking at the pics. Mary, you are amazing! CHOCOLATE GRAVY, oh my!
I certainly think anything that has chocolate is worth a try! I love the chicken.
I love that centerpiece, Mary! Well, I love it all.
I wanted to do an outdoor table today, got busy..temp went to 90, then a thunderstorm. We had lunch on the kitchen island. Wasn’t as pretty as yours though.:-)
This is worth a cock- a -doodle doo!
Yes, please.
Oh.
hmmm…
You mean I’m supposed to PICK! Geez, girl. That gorgeous setting, lovely flowers and array of scrumptious food.
I’m in heaven.
I’ve not seen the chocolate gravy with biscuits. Did you truly like it?
Thanks for a delightfully delicious stop this week.
A+
Beautiful breakfast table!
Chocolate sauce over biscuits? Now I love chocolate and I love biscuits but I’ve never heard of this before.
The eggs benedict look delicious as does everything else. I’d gladly come to this breakfast.
Your tablesetting is so colorful and inviting. Love it!
Tammy
I am particularly fond of roosters and love your rooster and dishes. The table arrangement is just beautiful and fun. Love the use of the sunflowers.

YES!!! I want to have breakfast at your house with the beautiful view, the lovely table, and delicious food, not to mention the chickens. Quack! Quack! Ummm, I mean, cluck, cluck. ;-p
Holy smokes. I am totally digging the colors on your table, not to mention the amazing food! Crimeny! Can I come to your house? We’re having Cheerios.
“No wonder Paula is always so giddy~ with chocolate & cocktails for breakfast :-)”
That made me laugh out loud. Of course, laughing was a relief from all of the drooling that I was doing over these amazing pictures!
Everything looked so good. The tableware and the food. Such a festive way to dine. Thank you for inspiring me to maybe put some place-mats down every once in awhile : )
Dana
I am in love with your view! lol stunnning!!! An empty pizza box on an old bench would look great with your view! lol But love your very colorful welcoming tablescape. Very very inspiring – you did a fabulous job! Brunch is my favorite and you do it well! Thanks for sharing! Mrs. S
Woo Hoo! Now THAT’s a breakfast Mary! Your setting is spectacular, the dishes so colorful and the view is amazing! I did watch the video, Paula must have some good genes to still be kicking if she really does eat like that! (Although, I did see watermelon…) Thanks so much for joining the Cook-Along and, why yes, I’d love a Bloody Mary:@)
Lovely tablescape in a beautiful setting. This would be a breakfast to linger over.
Chocolate and biscuits – oh my!!! Your floral is beautiful. I love sunflowers. They are such happy summer flowers.
Mary, coming here just made everything right in my world. Chocolate over biscuits.. I am so trying that! and the casserole.. It all looks absolutely scrumptious. Your backdrop is heaven! So envious. Love your table.. I think I’m going to have to check out Kohl’s for those placemats and napkins. Love the rooster, recognized Mr. Fitz & Floyd right away. He’s got such a charming quality.. But… I love the vessel! I have to find one like that. It’s perfect with your choice of dishes, placemats and stemware. You’ve created art on the table!
Now that is breakfast! Love the photos to go with the post. So colorful.

Hello! I don’t believe that I have been to your blog before now, but I am now subscribing! Your blog is just beautiful. I have a WordPress blog but I’m just getting started. I live about an hour south of you in South Carolina. I can tell that we like a lot of the same things, especially cookbooks.! Your breakfast tablescape is so lovely. Love the rooster plates and everything else on your table.
Have a great day! Jane
Oh my gosh! I’m drooling over the tablescape! And the fact that it’s out on the lake. BEAUTIFUL!!! And then the food….I sure don’t want to go pour myself a bowl of Cheerios now! How boring! Biscuits with CHOCOLATE gravy?! YUM!!!
Such gorgeous pictures!
That’s it! You have crossed the line. You have offered me a Bloody Mary with an OJ chaser with fresh fruit for dessert, Eggs Benedict / Fresh Asparagus on a fluffy Southern biscuit with Hash Browns on the side, and for dessert, a biscuit with Chocolate Gravy beside a calm and beautiful lake, BUT YOU LEFT OUT THE DAY AND TIME OF THIS SPECIAL BREAKFAST! AND, I will need directions to this “hideaway”. You are killing us girl!
I have a hat that will match this setting and I will leave a big tip, as well.

Well, that was an awesome post! Your tablescape was so beautiful. Were those peppers in with the sunflowers? The food looked divine and I want to come to breakfast! Very fun post on Alphabet Thursday.
What a fun post! I love the chickens and, although I don’t think I could wrap my mind around chocolate-covered biscuits for breakfast the apple cinnamon oatmeal sounds delicious!
I’m still waiting for Blogger to return my Paula Deen post so I can link up too!
A little of each, and what a pleasure to sit at that beautiful table with the pretty flowers! Just lovely!
Oh, good heavens, this is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! All the color is just great! I really love that floral pot, and the flowers are gorgeous! I am so fond of hypericum berries, and they look wonderful with the sunflowers. The food is dreamy. I never heard of chocolate gravy, either. Leave it to Paula Deen! :-) I will have to prepare that for my husband one day. It will make him very happy!!! Beautiful post!
Ok, biscuits in gravy is so popular here that it is served every Christmas morning, but now, this biscuits and gravy really speaks to me!!!! What a beautiful post. The setting is gorgeous, the table is so happy and pretty and the food is so fabulous, you are going to have to bring out the wheelbarrel to roll me away from the table!
Everything looks so amazing! The table setting is gorgeous, the view perfect, and the food looks delicious. What more could you ask for? Absolutely beautiful. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

I need to move South. I need to live where Paula Deen lives!! Love your beautiful tablescapes!!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to wake up to this table & that view?? Wow!!
The fat fluffy sunflowers with that pop of red berries echo the colors of your table beautifully, Mary. Nice, chunky fat jar holding them, too!
Cute rooster to go with the beautiful plates, as well.
Your Eggs Benedict looks scrumptious! My DH would be in heaven…his favorite morning food. I should make it for him today & surprise him.
