Autumn Lakeside

We were able to sneak in a little boating leaf tour right before the temperatures nose-dived into the “too-chilly-to-boat” range~ which for me is anything below 60 degrees :)

“Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it,
and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns.”

Fall color almost passed us by this year. Leaves went from green to brown, a shame since Maine is usually so rich with color. Guess that is part of the crazy weather systems there have been.

Your lake views are gorgeous. Are the lake levels down up there? It seems like Lake Lanier is always waaaaay below what it should be.
