My vintage-inspired chalkware Santas, along with my Great Aunt’s Santa mugs & bowl made the trek to the table~
The varieties of cookies for Santa to choose from are as overwhelming for him, as they were for me, deciding on one to bake. . .
Fortunately I had some cookie inspiration from Nigella. . .
Still it was difficult to decide on one variety, so I chose two :)

I haven’t even started baking cookies yet…..Just returned from an emergency trip to the mainland and am still getting over jet lag.
As usual, the subject of your post does not disappoint. Gorgeous and delicious. When I had my kitchen shop in Miami I sold Fitz & Floyd and love so much of their stuff!
Will have to seriously look at those red velver cookies!

What a wonderful collection of Santas! I grew up with those mugs many years ago(yikes…they are now considered vintage!!!)and still love them. I also loved Jain’s remark “if only I were as tiny and small as I was back then”…I echo that remark.

If I wake up Christmas morning and find there are no presents under my tree, I will know it’s because Santa stopped at your house first!!! :-) Beautiful cookies presented on a beautiful table! I used to know how to make spritz cookies, but I haven’t tried in so long and no longer have the apparatus. That used to be so much fun!
