Easter Baskets are picnic ready~

 Bunny-Shaped Egg Salad & Pimento Cheese Sandwiches,

Carrot Cake Cookies, and Annie’s Bunny Snack Mix~

Polka dotted and plaid pails from Target make Easter Egg hunting a colorful affair~

Two woven baskets are filled with a variety of tender lettuces, cabbage, brussels sprouts, radishes, and carrots to satisfy hungry bunnies’ appetites~

Along with bunnies’ favorite flower to nibble on~

Petunias :)

Pails with Easter wishes from Michaels,

for serving~

Annie’s Organic Bunny Mix 

with baked cheddar bunny crackers & pretzels,

for snacking~

And Easter-ade for sipping~

Lemonade with a Bunny PEEPS® stirrer~

to quench your thirst at your picnic or

Easter Egg Hunt~

You can sip on the adult version~

a Peep-tini here.

Carrot Cake Cookies are quick & easy~ following box directions from a Duncan Hines Carrot Cake Mix~ with the addition of  oatmeal & nuts.

No bunny picnic would be complete

without baby carrots~

Pastel chipwood baskets from Michael’s are embellished with a ribbon, paper napkin and a Lindt Chocolate Carrot & Chocolate Bunny tucked inside~

 Serve your picnic fare in pastel cupcake liners inside your basket~ toss the liners when done and Easter Eggs are ready to be found and collected:)

    This is such an adorable picnik, I absolutely LOVE everything about it: the surrounding, the bunny decoration, the idea to place the food in cupcake liners, the colors, the baskets…Thank you for sharing it!

    Mary, I wish I was a bunny so that I could hop over and enjoy your beautiful picnic!…I am loving everything….where did you get that great beverage server with the wicker stand…I have seen cute servers at Pottery Barn but did not notice any wicker stands….love it!!…A gorgeous spot and day for a picnic!

    Looks like a fun lunch! I love the bunny sandwiches and was just looking at those cute Annies snacks yesterday! Your beautiful radishes have me looking forward to Easter dinner, believe it or not, the relish tray is a big deal at my house! Happy Easter Week Mary-enjoy:@)

    I want to be a bunny!!! What a fabulous picnic. You have such incredible detail. I love all the fresh vegetable and flower’/greenery mix. The colors are so bright and cheery. Love the lemonade dispenser. Everything is just so lovely, not to mention the beautiful setting. Blessings.

    I sure wish I could HOP on over and picnic with you!! This is adorable, the sandwiches sound so good. I never mixed the 2, but have to try that. The COOKIES sound awesome too, will try that too. You are NOT good for my waistline, missy:):) Please share where you got the drink dispenser. Did the wicker stand come with it???? I LOOOOOVE it! Happy Sunday, Mary. XO, Pinky

    I think I need to make myself an Easter basket :-) Your stone bunny is wonderful, and I like how you have him/her holding the eggs. I saw the Annie snacks and passed them up. They are cute!

    Hi Mary, If I could I would be sitting right smack in the middle of your beautiful Bunny picnic. The veggie basket is so colorful with all the pretty flowers. Love how you are serving out of the little baskets and I love the sandwiches and the bunny crackers. The lemonade looks so refreshing, and the lake as your backdrop! Just beautiful. Great Post.

    I’m sorry I missed the bunny picnic. Egg salad and pimento cheese are my two favorite sandwich fixin’s. Love your basket with bunny veggies and I’ve got to try the carrot cake cookies. Thanks for the recipe.

    I chose the pink Easter basket! Absolutely fabulous and the best Easter place to dine I have seen! All the detail and thought is presented with a bit of romance. Love the Easter pails and just everything! Happy tea party. Pam
