Happy Mother’s Day to you, Mary! I just love how you’ve combined the quilt and the floral napkins with your grandmother’s china. That mosaic urn filled with the hydrangeas is beautiful. I cut my first hydrangea blooms today, too.

Again I must say, you never cease to amaze me. Everything is so beautiful. The dishes are exquisite. I love the quilt, the napkins, the napkin rings, oh gosh, I love it all. As usual, you’ve done a marvelous job and putting your table together.

You have such a knack for coordinating everything, Mary…It should not amaze any longer, but it always does! A beautiful Mothers’ Day table…

Mary, A lovely tablescape for Mother’s Day, such beautiful china and pastel pink colours. A Summer surprise is that Strawberry Bellini, what a treat!
A little disappointing the news about FFT, I’ve invested in buying most of the books from the list, so as I’m enjoying the books on the list and I’m a avid reader, I’ll continue the edible reviews.
Hope you’ve had a wonderful day! xx

  14. May 13, 2012 at 10:53 am

That is a gorgeous quilt! Oops! I was so distracted by the quilt that I forgot to look at the flowers. Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s all so lovely – what mother wouldn’t wish to linger all day?

  16. May 13, 2012 at 11:30 am

Very reminiscent of another time. I love how the red diamonds in the quilt circle the edge of the table! I love the eclectic look of the elegant dishes, stemware, and flatware against the country look of the quilt. My first thought on seeing the urn was “OK, what plates can I break and which of my urns would work best?” It’s just a beautiful table, Mary. Happy Mother’s Day to you!

  17. May 13, 2012 at 1:32 pm

These kind of post are always inspiring! Even the tablecloth caught my eyes because of its designs and texture. You always impress me by your table! :) Have a nice day!

It is all so lovely. I would love to sit and share a strawberry bellini with you. I adore the sweet little faces on the violas. This is the perfect Mother’s Day setting. I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend.

  21. May 13, 2012 at 10:44 pm

Hi, Mary. Love the quilt…I was sure it was old and had a lovely story–you’ll make the story going forward instead. The urn for the centerpiece is perfect with it. And the strawberry bellini pictures are heavenly.

Thanks for visiting me recently and commenting on my WaterColor Inn post. :) ~Zuni

This is super pretty, Mary!!! Oakleaf hydrangea, huh? I never knew what it was called, just that I really liked it! It’s just gorgeous flowing from that cool urn!!! Every element on the table is beautiful, and those Strawberry Bellinis look heavenly! I could use one (one as in “one whole pitcher full”!!!) right now! :-)

  23. May 14, 2012 at 2:25 pm

    Charming! Just perfectly charming!
We had frozen strawberry frozen blender drinks and pineapple too with 4 of the 5 kids plus son in law and our 3 sweet peas! The sweet peas can not suck them down fast enough! A very satisfying Mother’s Day late afternoon evening very informal (grab what you want) gathering.

Like I have often said, you could put a paper cloth on the table, and paper plates, and with that view, no one would notice! But, you never do, (thank goodness!) :)
Beautiful quilt, dishes and the flowers are lovely! The strawberries look great!
Thanks so much for linking every week to Let’s Dish, Mary!
Have a great weekend, enjoy the view!

Absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the mosaic urn, the fragile old crystal, and the use of the quilt as a table cover. Just lovely!
Our summer house is also on water — but salt water. You have inspired me to try some tablescaping magic there on summer weekends!

And — your photographs are SO well done. Thanks!
