Autumn’s Delight

I’m delighting in Autumn~

My favorite season!

A season for harvesting, layering,

and enjoying the fall foliage~

I gathered some fruit, mini pumpkins and leaves, and layered my quilted coverlet with a warm, wool plaid throw to enjoy some Autumn’s Delight at the table.

This centerpiece is one you can pull together

in 5 minutes for your Thanksgiving table

or sideboard after you’ve collected your materials~

Leaves or branches, pears, apples,

pumpkins, grapes, and nuts

from the produce section of the grocery store. . .

No picks or floral foam required~

just draping, tucking, building, and

adding your fruit or veggies in a basket,

urn, or tray~

The best part is it’s economical,

since it can be eaten later :)

Autumn’s delight……….a visual delight! Mary, I can just imagine how beautiful your store was. You are a master at staging exquisite sights. We’ve been using the lovely Gold Leaves settings, which I plan to feature in a tablescape soon. The weather here is beginning to cool, so alfresco dining is a possibility. I don’t get tables created and photographed with the ease and efficiency you do. Makes me wonder what it is I actually do with my time. LOL Thanks for always inspiring me to reach higher! ~ Sarah

I love the expert mix of pattern, Mary! I am such a huge fan of pattern mixing when it’s done right, and it is definitely done right here! My favorite kind of floral arranging is that which requires no floral foam…just nipping and tucking until the look is perfect. You’ve done, as always, an outstanding job of that! Every time I see that fabulous flatware I just want to crawl inside the computer screen!!!!!!!!! When I first saw it at PB, I had “a moment” in the store! :-)
