Popcorn is always a winner in my book! Have fun watching tonight Mary!
PS-Had to chuckle, English Muffins were on sale for 99¢ yesterday:@)
“Prosecco, affordable and available at most grocery stores.
Also a Foreign Language contender since it’s Italian :)”
Oh, My! Giggle!!!!!!! Enjoy the Oscars! :D :D
That does look good! I always watch the Oscars. This would we a nice treat!
Now this is is my kind of snack…bring it on and enjoy the show!
Oh gosh! I love your glammed up popcorn. Thanks for the idea!
Mary, this is my kind of snack. Enjoy your evening at the Oscars ;o)
P.S. Add some St. Germain to your Prosecco sometime. Garnish with a cucumber slice. Ooh la la.
As long as I have my freshly made popcorn and bubbling Prosecco — who cares who wins? Lucinda :0)
Love Prosecco and that is definitely an award winning popcorn!!….Have fun at the Oscars!!…So many great movies and actors up for the awards..hard to predict (for me) who will win!…Loved Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field in Lincoln.
I am gearing up for tonight, but first on my way to meet my daughter for some lunch and “retail therapy”! Best of times. I have only seen one of the “best films” and wish I had seen them all. LOVE popcorn AND Preseco!!!! Have fun tonight. XO, Pinky
Now this is the way to enjoy the Oscar’s!!!
Oooh, what an award winning popcorn!! I can’t wait to try this recipe, we love popcorn! Enjoy the Oscars!
Sounds tasty! I would need a Jolly Green Giant-sized martini glass for mine! :-)
Clever and fun post, Mary! Viva il Prosecco, io amo tutte le cose l’Italia
I love love love pop corn and I am going to make it tonight for the Awards.
Thanks for the recipe!
Mary
I’m going to try the Herbs de Provence in mine tonight! And by the way, The School of Essential Ingredients was marvelous, would make anyone want to cook. I must get the followup one you wrote about yesterday.
Oh, I want to come over to your house to watch the Oscars. This is my king of movie food. ‘-) Love your creative presentation, Mary. You never skip a beat! Enjoy the evening. ~ Sarah
PS – Would love to have the link for the poppy suggestions.
Yummy! I am addicted to popcorn. If I lived on a desert island and could only eat one food for the rest of my life, I’d pick popcorn! You are all set snack-wise to enjoy the Oscars. I hope your favorites win!
And the Oscar goes to…popcorn and Prosecco! I will be watching tonight glass in hand.
Looks like we’re both going to be enjoying our popcorn for the Oscars tonight!
I just LOVE watching the entire event unfold!! I start by watching the Red Carpet event on the E Channel…then switch over to the regular station when the awards start! I love watching watch everyone is wearing!! Some of the dresses were just beautiful, weren’t they?? Popcorn and Prosecco would be a perfect pair!! Hope you had fun watching! xo Jeanne
