At the Table: Birds, Blooms, and Pfaltzgraff Heritage Dinnerware

DSC_3082-001

I’m at the table with birds, blooms, and Pfaltzgraff Heritage Dinnerware.

Pfaltzgraff Heritage provides traditional styling with a classic white design for dining at the table.

DSC_3076-001

Microwave and dishwasher safe, stoneware pieces are 12-sided, with coordinating accessories that are architecturally inspired.

DSC_3068-001

White dishes inspire creativity since they provide a blank canvas at the table!

DSC_3075-001

A printed floral tablecloth provides a modern yet vintage feel and a colorful foundation in blue and yellow for the table.

DSC_3086-002

Lightly textured, the tablecloth and napkins have birds on the branches and in flight.

White ceramic bird napkin rings hold a yellow fringed napkin, paired with a patterned one.

When I decided to add vases of flowers to the table, it seemed fitting to pull out my Ball Heritage Collection Blue Mason Jars for a Pfaltzgraff Heritage table.

Blue Ball jars are holding hydrangea and alstroemeria blooms.

An Elements 3 Tealight Metal Jar Holder in shades of blue and green, provides a little light and color.

Endless Summer Hydrangea blooms are fading from blue to soft green that I cut to fill a Heritage pitcher for the table.

And a set of 3 Elements green ceramic birds are nesting with the flowers at the table.

What is “Elements”? If I google that…I get a chart I remember studying in junior high : )

Hi Carolyn, Elements is a home décor collection (in addition to the periodic table :) available through the Pfaltzgraff site, you can find it here: http://www.pfaltzgraff.com/elements

Love the soft blues and yellow in this tablescape. The linens are so pretty. Can’t go wrong with blues.

Une très jolie mise en scène pour un repas qui j’en suis persuadée sera à la hauteur de ce décor. Un très agréable moment à passer en famille ou entre amis .
Bravo à vous pour votre talent de décoratrice.
    Amicalement.

I’ve had this particular pattern of Pfaltzgraff dishes for almost 40 years! And they are definitely my “go-to” white! They look lovely with your tablecloth and birds. Birds are one of my passions, so this is perfect! As always, beautiful Mary!

Mary, I just always love seeing a table set with classic white dishes, and you do it the best of anyone I know! I chose some similar ones when I first got married in the 70s. Sure wish I still had them today! Love the white woven chargers, too!

Your birds and blooms are making the white Heritage sing Mary! I love the Elements votive holder, it’s so perfect with your colored Ball jars. I have serious hydrangea envy, yours are simply stunning! Delightful table, I swear I hear chirping~

Hi there. I stumbled upon your site accidentally and love it. I don’t know much about blogs or anything, so I’m a newbie. We were out on our boat yesterday and thought you would enjoy this picture of 2 of our 4 teacup poodles on the boat. Here is a pic of Salt and Martini. Margarita and Shaker are elsewhere on the boat. These two are our lookouts! :-)

Such a beautiful table setting. My favorite setting still is your Thanksgiving Churchill Turkey setting. I was so inspired that through Home Goods and Ebay I now have a 10 place setting and serving dishes. Love this site, looking forward to each mailing from you. I wonder how many people you inspire each mailing? M.Thomas

Just lovely! My Mother got me this dinnerware back in the late 70s or early 80s, not sure. It lasted a long time. I still have some of the large bowls and serving bowls. Somethings are just timeless.

  22. July 23, 2015 at 7:40 am

Mary: This is beautiful. I love the tablecloth you used. It’s the perfect backdrop to the white dishes. The little birds feel right at home against this life felt summery backdrop.
