It is chair-sitting weather again~ The fine art of “Chair-Sitting” involves: Stare at the Water and Clouds. Read a Little. Have a Drink. Watch the Purple Martins. Hold a Dog in your Lap. Listen to Music. Discuss Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and just Sloooow Down.
Read the history of Adirondack chairs here.
Feel free to stop by anytime and chair-sit with me. . .I look forward to your comments :-)

I love the extra details on those chairs, so cute.
Fabulous post with gorgeous photography! I long-ago mastered the art of chair-sitting and have never regretted it. LOL!
Great post.
The Adirondack chair is also associated with coastal living, even though it originated in the mountains. They are so super comfy!
I love your adirondack chairs, so unique and charming! And luv your take on the art of “chair-sitting.” Thanks for sharing that with us :)

Thanks…They are from Uwharrie~ http://www.uwharriechair.com/
Love your definition and those chairs! Although I am sure Hunter would love it if I held him in my lap while sitting in a chair, it is not going to happen. Cuddling on the couch or floor yes. But he is too big for a chair! One or more of my cats, yes! Great shots and a fabulous place to do chair sit.

I’ve always loved these chairs and am lucky to have one. I’ve always wanted another to make a pair, but not found the right one yet. Great view.
Enjoy your day.

Once we have all mastered “The Fine Art Of Chair Sitting” where we can stop long enough to marvel at the beauty of the Lake, to define the intricate shapes in the clouds, to identify each bird species song, then we will have reached nirvana, that to which we all aspire. So happy for you that you have already been able to reach this so desired plateau. That you have learned to slow down and enjoy this beautiful life. Thank you for sharing some of it with all of us,
My sister has adirondack chairs at her cabin in Leland, Michigan. I love sitting out in them with her. Almost time….
Also loved your shadow post!
you do know the good life…
