Vintage-inspired pails are filled with assorted Treats~
To make your Halloween Jolly, with their Spooky Sweets!
Ravens have flown in, landing on pumpkins at the table,
Conjure raven snacks up here, inspired from a Halloween label!
Lanterns dress in scrapbook paper, in time for Halloween~
With haunting double images, how-tos here can be seen.
Tinsel-woven placemats, add to place settings, brightening~
With their orange & black sparkle, more festive than frightening.
Textured napkins & plates add additional checked details~
And the quintessential back cat is decorating pails.
Spiders are found crawling, spinning webs inside a spoon~
Climbing on the pumpkins, across the table strewn.
Party favor pails are placed at each place setting to greet~
With chocolate ghosts & goblins, not scary, rather, sweet.
Vampire teeth, a skeletal hand and a few Pixie Stix,
Add to the vintage pails’ contents of Treats and Tricks.
Little munchkin pumpkins and tiger-striped ones too,
Add color to the lanterns and have a life span past “Boo!”
A creepy black cloth surrounds a raven, skeleton and bat~
For your own creepy gauze fly to Dollar Tree STAT!

I’m likely to bypass Halloween theme this year as we will be between places, so I will enjoy all your creativity which is more satisfying than doing my own!
Your Halloween table is so cute! Jolly is a great description.
How lovely is that? I would love to come over for a Haloween treat. :)
Mary, I love love the pumpkin filled lantern center piece. The check table cloth, pails, and candy make for a whimsical Halloween table. Love it:} Olive
p.s. so happy about your olive bucket
Only you can make Halloween look ‘tasteful’…!
Beautiful and very creative, Mary…and yes, I did enjoy the rhyming ;-)
SUPER fun, Mary! I especially like the use of the black & white checked tablecloth. It really does perk up the table and add a lot of visual, creative interest. The lanterns are great, and it’s neat how the clock in the background kinda looks like a spider web in this context. Even as an adult, I think we like to have fun Halloween tables with candy and treats. It’s only human! :-)
I just love this table, just the right amount of spook. The little pials of sweets are so fun and festive. I love candy on a table. I love the black and white checked tablecloth and the lanterns, and placemats. What a festive way to celebrate Halloween.

I enjoyed all of it and your creativity is amazing! I’m impressed. The table is lovely. Did you make those placemats? They are beautiful. I love orange and black! Love your candy cups, I want to do this. I have a lot of black candy left over from my daughter’s wedding (black and pink) so I’m thinking add orange to the black and fill up some buckets…love your inspiration!
I always enjoy coming by for a visit and seeing what you have done! Have a lovely week.
