I am inspired! I had to stop and pin some things before I could comment. I really want to get some of those marbled chocolate thingies to fill from World Market. We don’t have one here so I need to look around.
I’m pretty sure I just gained 5 lbs. reading this post. I am probably going to have to have chocolate for breakfast now! So many beautiful photos, recipes and ideas! I would have never thought to use 2 sizes of hearts for the pie crust, that is such a cute idea. I love the negative hearts you created dusting the plates too. Lots of pinning to do! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Jenna
I am enchanted with all the beautiful ideas & the creative way you’ve displayed them, Mary! I just visited your “Let Love Bloom” post, with your Aunt’s china & can’t imagine how I missed it! We must have been in FL that month! Everything was just so delightfully arranged…you do have a gift, truly. I wonder if there is a school that I could go to, to learn how to do this or is it just genetic?
Mary, Its always a sweet delight looking at your photos! You truly inspire me, I just wish I had the time, someday I will take the time!! Have a blessed day, Paula
P.s. I too work retail, its always fun to play store, hehee.
Oh boy…look at all those goodies! Sweets are my weakness…I’m wiping the drool away :-) I love the “Let Love Bloom” post!
Everything is picture perfect and delicious looking!
Hi Mary, I have been lost for the last entire hour visiting your links and seeing beautiful posts I missed. I really needed this to wake up to as the morning has already been stressful, with middle of the night texts from both kids (in two different states…) and a car that wouldn’t start … Mary, take me away! And you did! Thank you. I’ll be back later tonight to see more of your linked posts. Oh, our grocery store had ALL the oreo varieties yesterday, and I thought of you and bought a package. I had to open it this morning and eat one to relieve stress. I should have visited your blog first for a calorie free moment of peace and beauty!! Linda
Good morning, Mary! Oh, how I wish I could create beautiful treats like you do! Every sweet you create looks like a work of art! I’m going to try to do some of those chocolate heart cups filled with sweet cream & strawberries this year, though, for my husband. I don’t care for the taste of chocolate (except in liquid form…isn’t that weird?!??), but he adores it. IF..and that’s a big ol’ IF…they turn out looking anything like right, I’ll send you a photo! :-)
Sitting here with my morning cup of coffee, but now I think I need to dash to the kitchen for a slice of chocolate cake. Be right back…………that’s better, now where was I. Oh, yes, basking the the joy of all this chocolate on this crisp January morn. Thank you, dear friend!
Love all the Valentine’s Day goodies and decorations! Love tea parties too! Absolutely gorgeous!! Your photos are so beautiful and inspiring…looking through them is the best part of my day!
It all looks beautiful. Your flower arrangement is so luscious with the gorgeous roses and fresia and is perfect with your pretty china.
I made the minestrone soup yesterday and we loved it. The pesto was a perfect touch! We indulged ourselves with a fresh baguette, too. Thanks for promoting this recipe.
Well now that I’ve gained 5 lbs reading your blog and drooling over those gorgeous pictures I’ve got to try doing some of them. I especially love your little chocolate boxes. So yummy and precious. Mary I just revamped my blog and would LOVE to have you visit. I had to post two posts a few hours apart as I’m leaving for New York to be on the Today Show (NBC) Friday morning. 8-8:30 am. Doing my chicken wings. Luv ya friend! Nann
I agree, that book is one you want to eat and eat. I bought case of Hershey bars after and used them! It is like watching Chocolat the movie, I needed a box of chocolates with me. I went out and bought some when we watched it at home. What beautiful Valentine’s ideas. I do love Valentine’s Day.
Be my own valentine….now that’s a great idea. I can buy the flowers and candy I like most, fix my favorite food and languish in a bubble bath. Sounds good.
I really shouldn’t have read this post when I was hungry. I was salivating the entire time. Those treats look delicious and, as always, so very beautifully displayed.
Love your ideas! I used the same marbled chocolate heart-shaped cups on today’s post at Friendship, Life and Style. They are so great and easy for desserts. I like what you put inside of yours — I took an easier route and just used raspberries.
You always take stunning photos, must be that new lens! Really, all of your photos are perfect. I so love roses and chocolate any day of the week or time of year. Love this post.
So fantastic – wow, could you please come “do” my next party??? Really, great photos and such interesting and different goodies. Hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and receive Roses and Chocolates!
