Awwww, what a tranquil moment. Gorgeous photos & a lovely reminder to be appreciative of each season. The best thing about winter for me is I don’t feel guilty about staying inside & sewing to my ♥’s content! It is snowing like crazy this morning & I’m so glad I don’t have to go out in it!

These pictures are beautiful, Mary, and they make me think I would enjoy winter more down where you are. Canadian air here always means “arctic” as it swirls down during a nor’easter, bringing extreme cold and precipitation. I do enjoy the clean air and quiet that is all around outdoors after a huge snowfall. That has no equal during the summer months. Linda

There is nothing more beautiful than looking out on the water and seeing color from the sky reflected on it.

How pretty! All we have here in Clovis, California is sunshine, cloudless blue skies and 70° for the next 7 days. Boring…

What a gorgeous view! We have had some beautiful sunsets down South this past year…more than usual! So many, I have them all over my FB page! They have been stunning, especially over the lake. Your photos really capture how gorgeously colorful the sunsets are over water. Thanks for sharing!

Sooooo beautiful . I think everyone hit it right in the head…!!! Why is it , that we notice these beautiful sunsets or rises all our lives, but as we age , they take on so much more meaning. It was a beautiful picture to ” inhale” this morning here in the frigid Indiana hinterland. I love this beautiful snow , and yes , even the cold winter. But, your photos , as always, are a lovely treat to prepare us for what the next few months will bring. as I always say…..Keep them coming…they take us away…

    Amazingly beautiful photos!

There is something so magical about winter sunsets. I don’t know if it’s because we can seen them better without leaves on the trees or we are less busy and have time to watch them. They have been beautiful here too. Gorgeous photos!

I remember my parents pointing out a beautiful sky when I was little, and as Penny C above says, sometimes we appreciate them so much more as we have experienced so many things in life. These photos are magnificent! Thank you.
