How fun that the little Johnny Jump-Ups are jumping out of the basket on the door Mary! Yep, I’m ready for some pretty color and warmer weather, love your spoon too:@)
It’s certainly warmer where you are. :) No Johnny Jump Ups here! Thanks for the lovely photos and tease of warmer weather. I’m especially smitten with your use of the plate in the door basket. Lovely. But, then again…your creativity shows in each photo.
Hope your week is Extraordinary!
Your Easter “basket” is adorable and I love the bloom spoon with the emerging flowers! Your use of household things in your outdoor arrangements is so much fun!

What a perfect post for the first day of spring. Just a tease for me, though. Still snowing here! I’ll probably keep reviewing this post over and over for a spring fix! Thanks Mary
Hi Mary, Our daffs were poking their little stems up, but are now buried under the latest snowfall, so we’ll see how they look in a few days! I love that basket with the daffodils, pansies and eggs. Looks like you are ready for an egg hunt! Your close ups photos of the little pansies are beautiful. Linda
As your other readers have stated, what a great display of spring and your photos are awesome. I wish I could be so lucky to find a concrete basket like yours. SO cute!
Hey there, Mary! Well, you just provided me the solution to a decorating dilemma in our bedroom! I’m trying to get it spruced up for Spring, and the burlap around those pansy pots is just what I think will work in one area! I don’t want the ugly raw pots to show, but didn’t want to use messy Spanish moss indoors. Thank you!
Mary, your pictures are literally a breath of fresh air! It is still so cold here that I think the daffodils are going to go back underground. Thanks so much for the beautiful bouquets.
Oh my gosh, how beautiful! I want to badly to be ready for some bloom but it was only 11 degrees here when I awoke this morning :( It’ll be a while before we see any pansies and violas at the garden centers. I love those little faces :)
I love the blackish Goth looking pansies….or are they Johnny Jump-ups? Whatever they are I love them! And your bulbs, basket….everything looks so springy and *fresh*
How I LOOOVE the cement baskets!!!!!!!! You are lucky that you can have flowers outside. I am SO ready for Spring to REALLY get here. I did buy some tulips for myself. Enjoy your blooms!!!! XO, Pinky
Your blooms are gorgeous! I do think Pansy and little Johnny Jump Ups have the cutest faces. Love your concrete bunny. Need to find another one for my garden.
Your basket of violas mixed with ivy looks so lovely with the floral plate as a backdrop & I really love the forged window box with the poufs of burlap. Your pansies look so healthy & happy! Your photography is so beautiful…it is like looking through virtual window into Shangri-La!!
Where, may I ask, did you get your door basket? During very high winds last December, my Christmas wreath hanging from a wreath hanger blew back and forth, etching my front door. I need to paint, but would like to hang a lovely basket of flowers like this in the meantime.
Ms Mary may I “borrow” that adorable photo of your Peep Tini’s & Tussie Mussies so I can link back to you? I sooooooooooooo want to be fluffing my nest for Easter/Spring & all I’m doing is having contractors in by the millions (or so it seems). Buying/gutting a house is HARD DIRTY WORK & my world is not nearly as pretty as yours. I promise to so link to you if you’ll share. Hope you’ll stop by my blog to see the progress we’re making. HUGS! Happy Hoppy. Charlene

Beautiful post, Mary! The pansies are so pretty! Happy Spring to you!
I am so ready for blooms but none in site. Beautiful purples in the panseys.
Spring has been here for a month, but what I covet is your deck shot with the water and watering cans… Be still my heart!
Mary, your pictures are literally a breath of fresh air! It is still so cold here that I think the daffodils are going to go back underground. Thanks so much for the beautiful bouquets.
Charming! Wish I could grow Johnny jump ups here, but the next best thing is to enjoy them vicariously through you!
Beautiful! Your pictures are stunning!
How wonderful- It is certainly looking like Spring at your place. I am so anxious for some Spring here- xo Diana
