At the Table~ Belmont Blue Flowers
I’m at the table
with Blue Flowers. . .
Blooming Napkin Rings,
Mikasa Gourmet Basics
Square and round salad plates offer
two different blooming varieties in
this handcrafted collection of stoneware.
Tole flower napkin rings act as a nosegay
presenting red checked napkins.
A casual centerpiece,
a birdhouse and watering can with hydrangeas,
provide some additional blue at the table.
A quilt is multitasking as a tablecloth with a
patchwork of sun washed shades
of red, khaki, and blue.
The color of the glaze on the blue dinnerware,
reminiscent of soft faded denim, would be fun
paired with a burlap and bandanas
for a western-themed table!

How cute, Mary! I love the Belmont Blue Flowers dinnerware. Thanks for offering us the discount, too! :D
Mary, I really like how you pulled everything together for this tablescape.
Such a charming tablescape…love the hydrangeas.
Really a sweet and inviting table. Love how you put everything together,Mary. Really like the red checked napkins .Your quilt table cloth is always beautiful and interesting. Thank you.
The dishes are gorgeous Mary. I’ll go have a look at the Mikasa site.
Gosh those dishes are pretty, Mary, and you showcased them so well with all your pretty accessories. I’ll check out the site.
I’m not typically a blue person, but much of what has caught my eye recently has been in those colors. You bring out the bet in them with your colorful accents. It looks like the lake is in full glory.
I really like how you added red and picked up the red on the dishes! The quilt is a perfect backdrop to the boldness of the dinner plates. The centerpiece is perfect with them. xo marlis
I love blue everything and especially blue hydrangeas. Thank you for taking the time to share this beauty with us.
What an inspiration you are! My husband and I only have our youngest daughter left at home with us. So I have begun the challenge of making our dinner table more beautiful –since there are only three of us it is easier. It was from your blog this idea grew. Thank you for being such an inspiration to myself and many others!
What a lovely tablescape. Love the blue hydrangeas, Many thanks for sharing this beautiful table with us.
I am a blue lover from waaaaay back…as a child most of my clothes (and hair ribbons to match, of course) were blue…Anything blue still calls my name… ;-)
Love that birdhouse! Did you make it? Looks like a banister post in the front?
Another winner for sure, Mary. The color and pattern of these dishes aren’t something that I would normally notice. However, the way you have showcased them have put them at the top of my ‘to get’ list.
Perfect stoneware dishes for the Nikko Blue Hydrangeas.
I love the red gingham napkins with the stoneware, gives it an unexpected look and brightens up the whole table. The hydrangeas really make the pattern pop too, and what cute napkin rings!
Your table is very pretty yet still nice and casual Mary! Love the hydrangeas, ours haven’t bloomed yet here-enjoy:@)
I love the red gingham napkins with the plates. The Blooming Napkin Rings are wonderful!
All the elements are perfect. The napkins rings were great finds to compliment the stoneware as were the gingham napkins. Your quilt was a wonderful background. Your hydrangeas in the watering can are delightful. Very striking tablescape.
Love blue, love hydrangeas…love the entire table…the napkin rings are so cute!…and love how you placed that hydrangea in the “tipped over” mug…..you have such magnificent styling talents!..
All of the elements of your tablescape are gorgeous as always. I love the blues floral theme and the square plate is a nice addition in the set! The flowers look like they are growing of of the plate!

I love blue flowers in the garden, Mary! I would love to grow blue hydrangeas here but no matter what I try then always turn pink. I know it’s the soil here in the north.

Oh, how i love your wonderful tables,Mary! And you have worked magic with this beautiful Mikasa setting. It’s just like you to mix it with red checks and a quilt tablecloth! Looks like they make the dinnerware for your table and not the other way around. Stunning, my friend!
