These boots are made for walking so
they’re strutting their stuff
as vases. . .
Blooming with Hydrangeas, Elderflower,
Alstroemeria and grasses!

I dressed my Belmont Blue Flowers table last week with additional blues and flowers~
hydrangeas in a watering can, blooming napkin rings and a flowered patchwork quilt.
This week, I took my cue from the color of the blue dinner plates which reminded me of soft worn denim~
suitable for a table for a hoedown or cowgirl dining!
In addition to boots, I lassoed some bandanas,
a jute runner, and the same quilt~
reversing it to paisley and play up the cowgirl side.
I wrangled a set of

Great table, as always. The jars look so cute wearing their little bandanas. The thing that really struck me though were those cute boots. I also had to wonder just how tiny your feet are. My boots would look like storm trooper boots on top of a table.

You know I adore all the tables you put together, but this one has given this Texas gal a special smile. How clever to use the paisley and the boots for vases. I can see this table being perfect for many occasions here in TX. I recently purchased some cute cowgirl napkins at a local museum store. very cute, i am loving that reversed quilt, yee haw ridem high! let me count the way we are twins, i crack up as i scroll down, glasses, silverware, jars, mine too are on the table but filled with daisies, and i got rope, but not for steer this week, but for them thar nautical feel with bandanas and my sea worthy napkin rings too. girl we do love the basics girl, we can stretch them to look like they are from sea, to your carolina rough and tumble table, its just always fun watching you play! now if only my boots were made for walking, i am have been shuffling around sore as heck these days planting away at sea dream :-) fun and festive… AGAIN!

This is so much fun! I showed it to Hubby and he ran upstairs to hide his boots. :)
This is so darn cute! I once did a western themed event for couples at the end of a summer marriage study. I cut out the back patch pockets of a ton of old blue jeans with pinking shears and used them as utensil holders. I still do that table at home for celebrations for the men in the family.

Love the paisley with the checks and bandannas and of course, the china! But the boots as floral containers make the whole table! This is a fun table that would be adaptable for many events.

Are your hydrangeas blooming? My white one are starting to pop. It is a huge bush and there are hundreds of blooms coming. The others should be blooming soon, I can’t wait!

I love the addition of the pearl couscous to the Cowboy Caviar. It made me think that quinoa would be fabulous too.
It couldn’t be cuter with the bandana and the boots and then the touch of femininity with the flowers. Makes me want a jar right now!
