chalkboard inspiration for my Potting Shed back door.
Life is a Garden~
Leave the flowers and pull the weeds.
A favorite pillow had suffered through
multiple pollen seasons on the porch
and washings, and was looking
a little weedy & shabby~
So I picked a few flowers
from Michaels to plant.
It’s blooming now
in my Potting Shed~
a pollen-free zone :)
I cut a few flowers
that grow like weeds. . .
Elderflower.
And I am weeding my way through some
collections to do some bird watching.
Time to weed!

I am intrigued by your old book. What does 2/6 mean? Gardening zones is all I can think of.

I love the ladder! I want to put one on my side porch and every time I find one and go to buy it my son tells me I have one at home. I have yet to see it! LOL!

Picked some weeds this afternoon but left the flowering ones which sometimes are lovely too.
I spent so much time looking at all the details in your photos yesterday I forgot to leave a comment! All your clever little details never cease to amaze and delight! I loooovvve the quote, I am always telling my hubs, don’t pull anything that’s green! {Gardening is not our strong suit} I love all the little different things you have tucked in your pretty blue Ball jars too! I am so happy every time I see your beautiful garden cottage…I love the “garden quote”…so true!…and I am bird watching as I write….there is a family of birds in my potted plant on the upper back porch…they are chirping away and making a mess….but I will deal with the mess as I love to hear them…they will soon be big enough to “leave the nest”…
