Mary, I love how the Seaside lighthouse sugar & creamer set
stacks to make a tower. This is a set of dishes that I am seriously thinking of adding to my collection. It speaks SUMMER to me!
I’m not sure which I’m more impressed with…these pretty dishes or the amount of SEASHELLS you have to display with them! Darling set up…that lighthouse sugar & creamer set would be special, all on its own!
Thanks for showing this to us.
Oh my gosh, Mary. You have me at a disadvantage here!! I can’t do anything much, other than sit in my chair, at the moment, reading posts and day dreaming. You are causing me to consider ordering these beautiful dishes!;-)
Gorgeous as always. Loving the colors and pattern and of course the inspiration.
Girl you know this is right up my sandy toes! Adorable… On the cell did I miss where the mats are from too? Any time you can dine with sea stars, they are no longer called starfish I just learned at the university research lab, it’s a good day!
Mary, You can set a table like no other. World Market, Pottery Barn, and Home Goods should give you a discount for promoting their products. I want everything I see you use! Good thing I live too far away from these stores or I would be in trouble.
If I had a beach house this Pfaltzgraff pattern would be for me. I love the colors and the cheerful design.
Mary, you know I am going to have to go get those rattan shell mats, those are the too fabulous! Of course I love everything else too, but the way you described spying those mats really made me smile, I can so picture your feeling of glee at your great find! It all looks so summery, beachy, blue and fresh…I better head over to Pfaltzgraff to see if there is anything that has my name on it :)
Jenna
So pretty Mary. Those dishes are perfect in your setting. I love the placemats, can see using those this year too. It’s a very outstanding table! xo marlis
Your creativity never fails to amaze me, Mary! Your sure know how to showcase dishes to their full potential. I love those placemats and how your “combed the aisles”!!
Another hit!…Everything works well together and to find a napkin pattern that so totally complements the dishes was a big score! As someone above mentioned already…if I had a beach house I would just have to copy this table setting!
Stunning as always my friend. LOVE the choice of colors! Hugs from Elle to Chloe & Gracie. We’re slowly getting things unpacked from our move. It’s NO FUN! Can’t wait to be decorating & enjoying.
Oh, I LOVE your table setting.. The Pfaltzgraff Seaside pattern is so pretty..cute lighthouse sugar and creamer, too. I have to tell you I looked at the Water Hyacinth Chargers at WM last week, but didn’t get them because I already have some plain water hyacinth ones. The square shape and little shells really makes yours special.
You’ve really showcased the china beautifully…as always. :)
You find the most wonderful things!!!…You amaze me with every tablescape…each one so uniquely gorgeous…there is not a tablescape book on the market that can compare to your tables…seriously!!!…
Your tablescape is unreal gorgeous. I love your dishes, so pretty and all of your accessories are stunning. Sso pretty. Thanks tons for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
Oh Mary! I always LOVE your seaside dining tables! Love the shells in the lantern and those placemats are fabulous! How fortunate you are to be gettig DISHES!!!! I am a TAD jealous:):) Love the colors of these. I just bought some pale blue bowls with shells embossed on them yesterday! Your table is perfect, with all your special touches. XO, pinky
Mary, you’ve set the perfect table to spotlight these adorable dishes! The napkins look as if they were made to coordinate with this pattern. Very clever design for the accent pieces. I’m going to sail back though these delightful images.
Everything on the table compliments the seaside dinnerware you have! So many pretty details and shells. You have such a way of putting things together!
I so wish I was sitting at this table, the setting is beautiful, and the incredible view is gorgeous! I just found your blog through Savvy Southern Style and I am now following you on bloglovin. I would love for you to stop by my blog sometime.
Thanks, Patty
The water hyacinth chargers are really special pieces, and I love the neutral sand tones of the shells used in combination with your blues and greens. This is a table where one could linger long into the night. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
Gorgeous table, Mary…is that a new wicker set or have I just not been paying attention or is it because it is sans the quilts?
Love the china, nice cool colors on a hot day.
Have a wonderful week…
Ok, I am coming over! I love those dishes, and those chargers are so perfect with them. The sugar and creamer stack is so cute!
Thanks so much for linking to Let’s Dish!
Love it Mary. Good pattern, great napkin rings and use of your shells around the table. The lantern is perfect for the centerpiece. I have been wanting to do a seaside tablescape and now you have inspired me.
This tablescape is heavenly! Every detail is perfect. I felt like I could smell the salt air and feel the ocean breezes when I looked at this. Are those napkins by April Cornell? How do you “scoop up” the tiny Crushed shells when you store the dishes away? They would look pretty in an decorative apothecary jar. Thanks for the inspiration. Are these dishes dishwasher safe?
Thanks Betty! The dishes are dishwasher safe and the napkins came from Pottery Barn last year. I use a kitchen spatula to scoop the shells off the table :)
We don’t have a Pottery Barn around in our area anymore because they tore the mall down where it was located. Closest one would be over in Tyson’s Corner, Va. Forget it! Too far and too much traffic to drive through.
What a WONDERFUL tablescape! I live by the ocean and am looking for a fresh, new way to set a seaside-inpsired table outdoors. Your tablescape was just the inspiration I needed. I really like each of the elements that you incorporated. In particular, I like the subtle watery-feel the bubbled goblets add to each setting.
Best,
Michelle from simplysantabarbara.blogspot.com

I swear I could smell the ocean while looking at that tablescape. Those shell placemats are just right. Happy summer!
I love this table. The placemats are so cute and so is the salt and pepper shaker. Susan
I really like this table with all its great detail…and the view. Good job

So fresh! Love the shell filled centerpiece.
I LOVE your blog. Your table settings are always fabulous! And I have tried many of your recipes….always delicious & so attractively presented.
I love blue and sea shells for summer. This is right up my alley — of dreams anyway! All ready for summertime — and the living is easy!
I can hear the water lapping at the shore. What an inviting table & setting.
Another hit!…Everything works well together and to find a napkin pattern that so totally complements the dishes was a big score! As someone above mentioned already…if I had a beach house I would just have to copy this table setting!

What a wonderful table setting! What a gift you have of gathering dishes, napkins, centerpieces, and accessories to create such stunning tablescapes.
Judith
As Shirley above pointed out, there is not a book out there with as pretty table settings as yours. Could a book be in your future? Perhaps an ebook?
Judith
so pretty Mary, love how you’ve used all the wonderful shells!
Absolutely beautiful!! I think I recognized some of those shells from Shackleford Banks!!

I love your lake view! Seaside or lakeside if poolside in our case – the water is as mesmerizing as a fire. Beautiful table and shells!

Hello Mary,
What a beautiful table!
I love it.
Happy summer
Bear Hugs,
Carolyn

Ok, I am coming over! I love those dishes, and those chargers are so perfect with them. The sugar and creamer stack is so cute!
Thanks so much for linking to Let’s Dish!
This is a fabulous table – in a perfect setting! I love the bold colors on the plates (and that they are NOT melamine!)
Fabulous table!! Love anything beachy and this is it!..did I miss where you got the lanterns and the placemats?
Oh! I bet the chargers/placemats are one in the same….where did you buy the crushed shells?
The shells came from Michaels :)
So cool and refreshing and I am crazy for those S&P’s!
Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

I am doing my whole house in driftwood and the sea. How do I find these dishes? I would like to know where to purchase them. Thank you.
The Pfaltzgraff Seaside pattern has been discontinued. You might find them on eBay or at Replacements.
