Planning for Halloween is one of my favorite things and something I spend many months in doing. For the last 5 years I’ve hosted a Halloween Tea at a local tea house. My friend and are decorate the outside of the tea house in our theme. This year the theme is “Oz Meets Steampunk” which gives my guests many directions to choose for their costumes. Over the years I have pulled many ideas from your blog. You are so very creative. Thank you for being an inspiration and sharing.

I’d love to Eat, Drink & Be Scary! I love all your Halloween ideas and just used some for a Halloween birthday party yesterday for my niece who is turning 13- I know it is early but her birthday is 9/29 and it was either now or mid October and I didn’t want to risk her social schedule filling up by then. I also follow you by e-mail and on Facebook.

I would love to Eat, Drink, and be Merry–I mean scary! It’s just all so much fun. You are the absolute greatest tablescape artist of all time! We too have a house on the river for weekends. There is just something about water that soothes the soul. When we hit the gravel road leading down to the house it is as if ever strain in my body is released! Even the dogs get excited! Lisa
