Fortunately, I had ‘The Apple Orchard’ in my stack of books to be read and devoured it in a day. Loved the book and all of the blog entries inspired by it. Can’t wait to see what the Novel Bakers have planned for us next!

Well, it sure looks like The Girls know how to handle a rainy weekend! Over-cast and down right cold this morning but no rain here… yet. Loved all of the apple-y goodies Mary! Have a great weekend:@)

I love, love, LOVE your pooches Mary! If you ever need a doggy sitter, I’m your gal!

That book looks interesting, and the recipes delish!! I just made some apple butter today using a crock pot. Easy and so good in a pannini with ham, cheddar and sliced apples.

    Enjoy your relaxing weekend!!

Hi Mary, I’ve enjoyed Apple Week so much and I’m making the apple granola for my family. Gracie and Chloe look exhausted from all the cooking. I can’t wait to see what the Novel Bakers have on the menu next time! Linda

What a splendid wrap up to Apple Week! G & C are the cutest Bichons in the world. I’d love to be wrapped up with those cute ladies. I’m going to try apple cider caramel sauce–your photo is beguiling the way the caramel drizzles down. Heaven! I hope you are having a sunny Sunday. It’s cold in TN. Had to turn on the heat.

Mary, I loved all of your apple posts! Apple season is really one of my favorite times of year. My dad always took us to the different orchards around our lake area, and would sample all the different varieties. This time of year reminds me of him so much. :) Thanks for sharing the delicious recipes. I can’t wait to try them!

Awwww, what smart little poochies…they know how to keep warm!
I loved every single one of those apple inspired posts, Mary. I swear I don’t know how you do it, again & again. You must have just been born with an extra creative gene or something. You amaze me, truly!

Apple week left me wanting to spend hours in the kitchen and hours in my favorite spot devouring the Apple Orchard and the MLW books I haven’t read yet~the Novel Bakers are all so talented in taking us away to their imaginative places~it is so much fun to take these mini vacations and dream with you all. Thank you for such a wonderful and appleicious week!
