Falling Back

Falling Back

It’s that time of year to fall back ~ with a few exceptions like Arizona, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, most of us in the US will be turning our clocks back this weekend.

It’s also time when my internal clock falls to comfort food~ harvesting, gathering, and Thanksgiving!

Hi Mary, you make such lovely table settings and oh those recipes! I don’t know where to begin… I might just have to try them all! :D I know it’s silly but I Dred fall time change because it means in spring we lose that hour… I know, I know a whole season away and I’m already fretting :D
Hugs and enjoy your weekend my friend,

Your posts make my day and I look forward to them all : )
You are living the life we had hoped for with a lake and our boat at the dock and at the ready to jump onto for a fishing or floating excursion..We have the boat but alas we are landlocked and have to trailer to a lake or the bay to be on the water : (
Enjoy your good fortune to the fullest and your family definitely has their good fortune fulfilled living with your lifestyle : )

I love that we don’t have to “Fall Back”, but it took me a while to educate the family on the East Coast that although we were one hour closer in the Fall, it was still 4 am here when it was 9 am there…;-)

Loved the recap and reminder of the beautiful settings and delicious recipes for Fall…

I put my arrangement in a glass and put it in the hollowed out pumpkin—works better for me than floral foam! When the flowers get wilty, I just put in a new bunch! Sharon

Falling back at the lake, yet another pleasure. I made the cranberry pecan crusts last year and will make them again. They were a hit! Have you tried the pumpkin cranberry crisps at Trader Joes?
Enjoy your extra hour of sleep in the morning. ‘-)

  20. November 2, 2013 at 8:44 pm

Mary, I am so looking forward to an extra hour of sleep. aren’t you? How wonderful to revisit some of your posts, and I am going to check out your recipe for pumpkin granola. I have discovered a yogurt that I am crazy about (Greek God’s Yogurt) that would be so good with the granola. Hope you were able to get on the lake today in this beautiful weather!
