. . .along with a little Pottery Barn love and

recycled shopping bags as

gift wrap last December.

Hope you enjoy a ‘tweet’ repeat and have all

your Christmas shopping done

and wrapped under the tree. . .

if you do, you’re way ahead of me :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had several Pottery Barn
shopping bags this holiday season.
Too pretty to toss in the recycling bin,
I thought I’d recycle as gift wrap.
Since birds of a feather flock together,
they took flight to find a home
on my ladder tree.
I added some fresh greenery, burlap & tartan ribbon,
pine cones, acorns, feathers, eggs,
lichen and bits of moss
to decorate the packages, using hot glue.
This plaid box from Pottery Barn held a diffuser
and holiday candle I received as a gift,
now dressed for Christmas.
And ready to be unwrapped for
the second time
with a different gift inside.
 A few gifts are wrapped in brown kraft paper
with good wishes and greetings offered
with reproduction vintage post cards~
Lenox Winter Song arrived with colder weather
and more seasonal winter temperatures
for December in North Carolina.
And this adorable Chickadee ornament
flew south from Philly to nest with me. . .
    Hi Mary,
    Congratulations to Bonnie! She will be so happy to find out a special gift is coming her way. I love your packages and I’m sure I would not want anyone ripping into them on Christmas morning! And I am so far from decorating my packages this year ~~ every year I say I will be finished by December 1 but there are so many activities which I can’t miss that the wrapping always get pushed to last! I love all your birdhouses. I wrote to Santa (via a texted photo from my iPhone to his) asking for a particular one. I’m hoping he knows how to open his text messages. Linda
