Amazing inspiration Mary and now I’m longing for spring… I love your chalkboard drawings! Great tip about the WD40, I know one little pig that might get a rub down:@)

I loved the year in review in your potting shed. Wow! The year passed so quickly! I love it when you putter and play and you never cease to amaze me. Stay warm. It has been 16 even in south Alabama so I know you are having cold weather.

I love your potting shed and all the different seasons portrayed. It is cold here in Iowa too but looking better toward the weekend. Thank you for your great ideas!!

The is no one in blog land that can create a vignette like you. Each is full of artistry, beauty and soul. You apparently have that rare gift to see things through others eyes. Even majoring in Interior Design I have trouble at times with my own space because I can’t distance myself from the feelings that are connected to certain objects. It truly is a great talent to be able to capture a scene that others want to jump into. I think your potting shed should be a bed and breakfast!

You have too much fun with your potting she’d! I always enjoy seeing your creative vignettes. It’s all of 5 degrees this morning- can’t wait for this arctic vortex we’ve been hit with to leave. Stay warm- time for hot chocolate!

Do you know how long it took me to get through this post because I had to stop and click every link that I had either forgotten or missed? Then, of course, I had to pin.

I’ll need a fresh cup of coffee to complete my blog reading this morning. Your inspiration wore me out. Ha!

What a wonderful recap of potting shed *cuteness* Ditto what Debbie said….

I might need to start a board on Pinterest entitled “Mary’s Potting Shed.”

Oh what FUN to see these all over again, Mary! I enjoyed them very much the first time but even more the second.
I didn’t remember the “gardening Under Glass” & since I just recently purchased a terrarium, I’m running right over to review that one.
Thank you so very much for all the delicious eye candy you provide us with.

p.s. Is the potting shed at the lake house?

Hi Mary, I have been exploring all your old posts, including the terrarium one, as I have been making a few. Yours is beautiful, as is everything in this shed! The bunny posts and patriotic are some of my favorites but I love them all!! I will be visiting this post many times so I can find the older posts ~~ thanks for pulling it all together for us! Linda

Mary: your use of color, texture & scale is awe inspiring to me! I loved seeing the potting shed in all the seasons. I want you to know that I ordered the Napoli Rooster china set the other day….love it!

Your potting shed makes me incredibly happy. The hours you spend making it just perfect is such time well spent. Thanks so much for sharing. Please tell me where you purchased the beautiful plaid ribbon you used on your shed’s window box for Christmas. The vibrant red looks so lovely against the beautiful greens – especially the magnolia leaves. I can never find pretty red plaid ribbon! Everything I found was just too sparkly for my taste. Thanks again for allowing us to visit your shed during every season.

Thanks so much Barbara! I found my plaid ribbon at Hobby Lobby back in October :)

I have to say that even though I do not comment every time I come to visit I do love coming to your “place!” Your potting shed is so peaceful and I love it so much! I cannot blame you for puttering around in there; I would never leave it!
Thanks for a great year of posts and happy 2014; I look forward to what you will bring us!

Love the chalkboard on your door, Mary! It looks like it has come in quite handy as a decorating focal point throughout the year, too. Love the winter flower box.
