Buffalo Meatball Sliders with Blue Cheese Cole Slaw

Buffalo Meatball Sliders with Blue Cheese Cole Slaw

We had some left over

Touchdown Buffalo Meatballs

so we mixed it up for a slider version~

Buffalo Meatball Sliders.

Buffalo Meatballs

Quick and easy, you can make these meatballs

in advance and reheat them in the buffalo sauce

for kick off or a half time snack!

We like Martin’s Party Potato Rolls,

they’re soft and slightly sweet,

but any soft roll will work,

just split them in half for your slider.

Instead of a blue cheese sauce for the sliders, I mixed a quick and easy cole slaw using a blue cheese dressing and ready cole slaw mix in a bag. Add the dressing to the cole slaw to your desired consistency.

We like Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing, I used the lite version or you can mix up your own dressing.

The cole slaw has the blue cheese flavor to cool down the buffalo sauce heat and adds a little texture and crunch! Assemble the sliders at kick off or have the ingredients ready and let everyone build their own.

Go Seahawks!! The Broncos beat my Patriots last week! Ooh, I love potato rolls and cole slaw and blue cheese, and together they sound so yummy! There was a deli where I once lived and cole slaw was added to all their sandwiches. They called the sandwiches “joes.” Hmm. I don’t know why. But they were the BEST and these sliders remind me of them! We will definitely add these to our Super Bowl menu! Linda

thanks for the shout out Mary, and boy do your sliders look good! I love Marie’s dressings so I will definitely try this quick slaw! Never seen those rolls, are they like Hawaiian rolls? I like sweet in anything! We’ll be rooting for the Broncos, my hubs is a big Peyton Manning fan~

Mmmm the sliders look like the perfect Super Bowl party food! The coleslaw is so easy peasy, too. I heard from my son who’s staying with me, the reasons why he’s rooting for the Bruncos. I guess I’ll be joining in, but it’s more about the food for me, Mary! xo

Looks wonderful! I have to admit if someone tortured me I wouldn’t know who was playing in the Super Bowl! I know I am strange.

Fan of sliders here. We keep the rolls in our freezer. Just the right size for a hamburger for us. Will try your meatball sliders. Looks delicious!

These sound great! WE still aren’t sure what we are doing for Super Bowl. There is a party at the clubhouse but we may just stay here. Either way, these should be on our menu too! Thanks!!!

This is my kind of slider!!!..Love those potato rolls and I think you made the perfect choice for those sliders…and have used the Marie’s Cole Slaw dressing, but what a great idea to use the Blue Cheese dressing..great with the buffalo sauce….truly a hit at a Super Bowl party!

  19. January 23, 2014 at 4:35 pm

Your meatball sliders sound amazing, and the slaw! What a great idea to put the blue cheese dressing in the slaw. Love it! We are having a Super Bowl Eats and Treats Linky Party, and I’d love if you would link this, or any other recipe that says “Super Bowl” to you! It can be appetizers, desserts, parties, crafts, sandwiches, anything and as many, as you want. We would love to have you! http://bit.ly/Lvc0q2

I love slaw on a sandwich and think these sliders sound fabulous. Great idea to use blue cheese dressing. High five for that one. I’m pinning these to my Sliders board which has a healthy following. Hope I can send some traffic your way…as these are a great idea for the big game. Go Broncos.
