A single embossed hen adorns the top of the Antiqued Hen dinnerware, bordered by a subtle vine that rims the scalloped edges of the collection that is constructed of earthenware and is microwave and dishwasher safe.

J’adore tes assiettes avec le coq.
Je ne savais pas que chez vous ce sont les coqs qui pondent les œufs. En France ce sont les poules.
Passe une douce semaine.

What a fabulous way to greet the day-I can just see a big platter of country ham, eggs sunnyside up, grits, biscuits and tomato gravy being served on your wonderful farm house table.
I can’t imagine how huge your dish closet is! What a fun table. That dinnerware would look amazing in my farmhouse! LOVE LOVE LOVE your country styling!
Delightful! Love the dish pattern. Chicken Coop cart is adorable and you styled everything perfectly. Love all the textures and how you selected linens.
Forgot to thank you earlier in the month for the tip about the chocolate hearts at World Market. Wished I lived closer to World Market but it might get me into trouble.
I love my Antiqued Hen! Your table is beautiful. I can’t wait to set a table on the back porch. The light is changing here. I notice it, especially this morning. Won’t be long.:-)
Cute pattern and creative centerpiece! You might need a dish shed if they continue to send you dishes! (: Dishes are like pillows, you can never have enough!
Mary, I gave in!! I resisted (I don’t know how) when you showed us these dishes the first time, but I am weaker today! Soon these fun plates will be making their way to CT and when the deck comes out from under all the snow I will use them for a springtime breakfast al fresco! I also noticed your wonderful photos on the Pfaltzgraff site and I don’t know how anyone visiting there will resist these dishes either! And I love your rooster proudly guarding his hens’ eggs! Linda
I love those dishes!….and the wagon/chicken coop is so darn cute!…The perfect dishes for a “Rise and Shine Breakfast” buffet…and love how you placed the nest and egg in the bowl…very, very adorable!!!
Oh Mary, I love your tablescape of the roosters. What a wonderful sight to see first thing in the morning. The dishes are so pretty and the chicken box with the stunning rooster in it would put a smile on your face.
thanks for sharing this post. Have a great week.

Pretty table, and the chicken coop is so cute! I love the antiqued hen dinnerware. It reminds me of a very expensive Italian company’s pottery (I won’t mention the company’s name in this post, but I bet you can guess), but the prices are very good, and the wire hen basket comes with the collection? I love it, and the cream and sugar looks perfect there.
That little wagon is ADORABLE, I love it. I so wish we had HL near us! The closest one is 2 hours away!!! BOO. I love this table. The “grass” or nests are perfect, I don’t know if I have ever seen that color! The dishes are so versatile too. I am betting that you will be building a NEW shed to house dishes:):):) XO
This table has such down-home charm and personality, Mary. The dishes are so pretty against the quilt, which picks up the colors of your rooster. The centerpiece wagon/ cart is wonderful. What fun!! xo
Oh how I wish they still had the Pfaltzgraff outlet in York, PA. I bought so many dishes for next to nothing. The seconds may have had a tiny spot on the bottom. The overruns were my favorite buys, perfect and so much cheaper than the stores. I will be watching for these at HG or at thrift stores and yard sales in the future, I would love to add a few pieces to mix with some of my dishes
Great looking white ware Mary, and why are hens and chickens so universally appealing? They just make you smile! And of course you’ve styled it so brilliantly with your chicken coop wagon full of fresh brown eggs! So welcoming and fun, the egg nests are such a homey touch, and perfect with the brown gingham napkins. LOVE the flatware!

Count me in with chickens, too! I have the poultry wire covering my kitchen glass cabinet doors, chickens painted on my Kohler sink, murano glass roosters…and decorated eggs…everywhere…franki
This is a really great dish pattern! It has a lot of versatility for use during 3 of the 4 seasons, and that makes it a hot ticket in my book. I love the way you’ve put everything together to showcase them. The use of the quilt on the table really drives that home-grown feel right on home!!! Beautiful, Mary!
You always make every china pattern shine, Mary!! Oh, how I love this post. I am glad that you mentioned Hobby Lobby, since one finally opened in my city and I have not have a chance to visit, yet. Now, it is number one on my list!!
What a lovely table setting! The dishes are delightful and I’ll have to go check them out in person. Do you know of any chain stores that sell them? I have four lovely hens who lay eggs for me every day, so the dishes have special meaning to me. Very delightful.
Cindy
You sure know how to make a person think SPRING! A well done job in your table settings and I love the hen. I also have a hen which was my Grandmother’s and I know what I am going to do tomorrow! Thanks for all your wonderful post that you send out I look everyday just to see what you have done . You have lightened my day!

A nice casual set! Lovin’ the S&P:@)
PS-I’d love Sandi Lee’s (above) recipe for tomato gravy!!!
Good morning! Nice table setting! Got a kick out of the lady from France noticing that the rooster doesn’t “lay eggs”! Cute
A new to me Pfaltzgraff pattern and I like it! Not overwhelming with the hens. Would be nice with my other chickens. Fun!
Oooh – how adorable! Must find where they’re selling it here in Greensboro!
Wonderful tablescape…Love the dishes and the chicken and coop….Too darn cute!

I’d love to know where the flatware is from!
Hi, I always list the sources at the bottom of the posts :) The flatware is from Pottery Barn!

Oh, I dearly, dearly love this set. I think it is my favorite of all of the Pfaltzgraff designs because of its versatility…and the chickens. ;-)
