I’m ready to welcome spring, so I gathered some
bunnies, tulips & nests for the table with

Lord have mercy, Woman…I think you might just have more quilts than ME, even!! I never think to use mine as tablecloths, though. Gotta think out of the box more.

Love it and so welcome to see Spring arriving after this horrendous winter weather. My Pier 1 had the brown checked napkins last fall -do they have them now? I have a set of pastels I got last year too but would love to find the brown. thanks for your help.
Hi Sandi, Pier 1 doesn’t show the napkins online so I’m guessing they’re not available in the stores either. I’ll be on the look out :)

The table setting is lovely and certainly speaks Spring. The quilt sets a calming and charming mood with its color tones and fabric patterns; just the right foundation for the tablescape. I own a 12 piece set of the Mikasa Antique White dishes and I have enjoyed them for many years. The dishes can be used for everyday use and also have the look of fine china, which is just how they are advertised. In addition to their lovely look they are microwaveable and dishwater safe, best investment I made. Thanks for another inviting inspiration.

Hi Mary, we are thinking alike: I just posted a table “Dining with birds and Bunnies”!!! I love your table, the colors are so pretty. As soon as we know WHEN we will get home I am ordering a set of white dishes that I found and fell in LOVE with!!!!!!! Joe and I were in an accident on the way down to Fl. We were in SC so the car was towed to a Cadillac place in Charleston and we got a rental to get here to Joe’s sisters in FL. NO idea when we will get home now. Stay Safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your china is my favorite! Oh, by the way, that pattern is our everyday china here in The Land of Making Do. They are such a great basic white with a little detail. I love it with your chargers!!! All your nests and natural elements look very pretty. :-)

LOVE EVERYTHING! I’m probably the only person on earth who doesn’t have white dishes yet. I’ve had my eye on Wedgewood Queen’s Plain but recently saw the Mikasa Antique White and I love it. I do have the Mikasa French Countryside Crystal and I love seeing it on your table. Beautiful table!

I love the soft muted colors of the quilt and the easy centerpiece of the tulips in the vase. The layers of napkins add such a pretty pattern to blend with the table. The Mikasa dishes are so timeless for any time. I have the English Countryside pattern and the Berry Delight and they really are chip resistant and sturdy. Thanks for sharing a table that any of us could copy (well, try to copy!). xo
I love love love unexpected surprises like the tureen full of colored eggs, that is too cute! I also love flowers in pitchers, the the tulips are extra perfect the way they bow and bend…the brown gingham pairs so well with the floral napkins and it all looks so naturally elegant and inviting!

Mary, I love all the tablescapes that you do, but this one just speaks to me! I am just crushing on those colors in the quilt, and you have combined everything so beautifully! I was looking for brown and white checked napkins in Pier 1 last week, but they didn’t have any in stock. Sure hope they bring them back soon!
Ahhh, yes! So pretty! So feminine! So earthy! The tulips are just about the prettiest I’ve ever seen. I LOVE pink tulips!!! I also love the understated colors in that coverlet. It’s just whispering but saying oh, so much!!! The napkins you chose look great with it!

Pretty and fun table- the tulips and the napkins go together so nicely! I wonder if those dishes are more sturdy than my Mikasa Italain Countryside. I’m real unhappy with how they are holding up. I should give this pattern a try for my everyday dishes.

Mary, can’t believe I missed this one when you posted. Life here has kept me hopping like a bunny! This is of course adorable! Love the touches of brown with all the white and the soft pastels. I’m just starting to pull out some Easter things. It’s been too gray and cold here to think about Easter, but now that it has warmed up I’m ready! Thanks for the inspiration!
