Oh, Mary! what a fun and exciting time that must have been!…everything you do is always so gorgeous and inspiring…AND adaptable for so many of us :) Thank you for sharing your creativity….and those Carolina Blue skies!
How exciting, that same team was at Shirley Stankis’ house earlier this week, so ya’ll will have to do a comparison post on what happens at one of those events! We’ll be watching for news of publication and congratulations! Vicki in Louisville KY.
Congratulations on your photo shoot, Mary! I’m so excited for you! They picked the perfect potting shed to shoot too! I adore it. I know you must be still pinching yourself! I can’t wait to see it in print. You’re very talented! Shirley is the sweetest gal too!
Oh it could not have been a more beautiful day to have a photo shoot with “The Dream Team”…Everything looks amazing…I cannot wait to see it . . and they had so much “beauty” to work with!…I love those stepping stones and I am sure that they did not have to do very much styling as you always have things so impeccably done!…Glad you had a great time too!…and you took the most wonderful photographs of them!…
P.S. I am also looking forward to seeing the Shirley Poppy Wreath :)
Hi Mary! I’m so excited both for you and for all of us in blogland who are in love with your potting shed and feel such a connection to it! We watched as it grew and flourished and gasped as it flew through the sky to its new home, and now we can enjoy it in a new way! Congratulations!! I’m looking forward to hearing more! Linda
Ooh that’s so exciting, Mary! I can’t wait to see my favorite potting shed in a publication. I love how you took photos of the crew in action. Congratulations, Mary! xo
Mary, I’m so happy for you! I loved the camera-behind-the camera peek–the dream team were in a magical place. Your stepping stones express a beautiful philosophy, and I love the garden glove and posey propped against one. I can’t wait to see the South’s most famous shed–she is like a heroine who has been through many adventures (uprooted! yet she’s still in bloom) and inspires us all. Thrilled for you! xxoo
What fun and exciting news! Being published in a national magazine is long overdue for your amazing talents. You could be the photographer behind the lens. Every post you create is stellar and magazine worthy. Congratulations! Can’t wait to see it in print!
Enjoy the weekend, Mary.
Whichever magazine, it’ll be fabulous. I love your potting shed and Sunday Hendrickson always does a good job. And I only know her from name recognition from subscribed magazines I love. Congratulations, can’t wait to see the printed copy.
Congratulations Mary. I can hardly wait to see it in a magazine. You do such beautiful posts – please let us know when we can expect to see it on the news stand.

So exciting, Mary!!! I can’t wait. Clever how you shared the great news.
I loved seeing the photographers at work and their camera bag! Buckets of flowers are always a good thing.
You deserve recognition for all the wonderful creativity you share. I still wish you would publish a book.
Well, it’s about time! I have thought from the very first post I ever saw of yours that you should be in a magazine! Yay!!!! I am so excited for you and more importantly for others yet to discover your magical touches! I bet it was fascinating [and nail biting!] watching what they chose to highlight and photograph~what an amazing experience!!! I can’t wait, it’s like Christmas :)

How exciting for you, Mary! Have you come down from Cloud 9 yet? I am not at all surprised to hear the news that you will be in a magazine and I am so happy you decided to go through with it. I can just imagine how much work you did preparing for them to come. I cannot wait to see you in print. Too bad we will only get to see but a few of the photos and not the whole photo shoot. I just know they all will be devine. Congratulations to you!
So exciting! I can’t wait to see this publication. I had just read about Penny’s photoshoot, and was wondering if it was the same team. Now I see from her comment here that they are. The gardening glove with the lush flora made me gasp with delight!
I just spent a weekend with Sunday Hendrickson and I agree you had the absolute best person styling your photo shoot. She’s awesome!!! If you ever get a chance check out the website for Launching Your Creativity. Sunday was involved in this and her story of how she got started was trully inspiring. Congratulations on your upcoming magazine spot.
Congratulations Mary! I missed this post. How fabulous! Your garden shed is a delight and I’m sure they made it feel just as special as it did by the water. Looking forward to seeing it published!
Mary, How exciting.. LIke Liz, I missed this post, too. I must admit, I have shed envy. Mine is a strictly functional shed, and it’s tricky trying to decorate a riding lawn mower. :) But, I LOVE looking at your shed and dreaming, and looking forward to seeing the magazine when it’s published.
Wow that was odd. I just wrote an incredibly long comment but after I clicked
submit my comment didn’t appear. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyhow, just wanted to say great blog!
