At the Table: Mikasa Aliza Teal and Aliza Gris

DSC_9404-001

I’m at the table with flowers and

blooming dinnerware by Mikasa,

Aliza Teal and Aliza Gris.

DSC_9339-001

Aliza Teal blooms with a watercolor floral in a wash of teal

for a vibrant touch of color that provides a modern option

for casual or formal dining!

And Aliza Gris combines the delicate warmth of a pencil sketch

with an accent of color on the floral leaves and stems.

  Crafted of high-quality European porcelain,

Aliza dinnerware is elegant in design,

but offers everyday durability and

is microwave and dishwasher safe.

I snipped some variegated leaves of Kaleidoscope Abelia,

the red stems echoing the leaves

on the plates and in the bowls.

And picked some hydrangeas,

Japanese maple foliage and abelia

for an easy & casual centerpiece

to fill a vase for the table.

That’s a very pretty pattern. I like the mix with the small floral print tablecloth and the mason jar centerpiece. Love the blue hydrangeas!

Great job setting another lovely table. I really like how you worked bits of the garden into the pattern.

The dishes are very pretty Mary! I like the tablecloth too, it would be a nice casual RW&B for the 4th:@)

I love the dishes Mary, especially the teal ones. Your centerpiece is beautiful with the hydrangeas!

ooooh I love your “watercolors” Mary! The dishes are so unique~even though aqua is my official favorite color, I think I like the Aliza Gris the best~your description of it being like a pencil sketch is spot on! I love the large image on the dishware balanced with the small busy print on your cloth~ the cloth keeps everything from becoming to serious. I LOVE the extra large jar as a centerpiece vase, I will be borrowing that idea!

With your keen eye and ability to see deeply, you have created a stunning dining experience. The natural decorations mirror the pattern, pulling in details and bringing them to life. Elegant and connected to the world around you. xxoo

You have an incredibale ability to look at a dish or ANYTHING and put together the perfect accents. This table is no exception. I can’t believe you have hydrangeas already. I wish I could go to my old house and get some:):)
