Love the look of this table setting and these dishes, I love Mikasa dishes, I have a set of stoneware that I bought over 30 years ago called Vanilla, and I rotate it in every fall to use.
I love your calming new header, Mary. The dishes are beautifully showcased, as only you can do. My favorite part is the centerpiece…so easy, but so impressive.
Lovely, Mary, very serene! The linens are a perfect choice! I have to smile at the Lucky Bamboo. The .99 cent store where I found the Anthropologie glasses always has it. I wondered what people used it for! Your application of it is delightful!
The dishware is lovely Mary, but the centerpiece is striking in it’s simplicity and the sun shining through the deep green glass~love the lucky bamboo stems with the artisan salad plates and the natural elements in the bottle…who wouldn’t want to dine in this lovely spot on these beautiful dishes~

When I saw your new format I thought I got the wrong page. Haha. I just love it! I wish I could be around the water more, but not possible at this time. You make my day, giving glimpses of beauty in the midst of my illness. Thank you. You are a blessing!
I really like the soothing nature of this table, Mary. There is just something about the very sight of bamboo that puts me in a sort of “zen” state. I was working with bamboo on a tablescape just a couple of days ago, and my husband noted what a difference it made. There’s just nothing like it. I really like how you anchored the bamboo stalks in beans. VERY cool!!!
The dinnerware design is so nice. I reminds me of some of the chic mid-century patterns that are now enjoying a resurgence in popularity. I love the way that even the napkin rings reflect the pattern on the plates! The blue of your tablecloth and napkins looks great against the backdrop of the water. So pretty!
A perfect table to calm the soul. Love the soft shades of greens and the simplicity of the design. The napkin rings are wonderful! Lovely table for a hot summer day.
Mary, you have a great eye for finding the perfect linens to showcase every piece of dinnerware you use. All the elements you select complement each other. Mikasa has beautiful patterns. Love your centerpiece too.
I love the new background color and new header and new font.

Gorgeous dinnerware and I love how you themed it with the bamboo…my sister in law loves bamboo and the kitchen cabinets have bamboo styled hardware…will have to forward this post to her…i love the serenity of this beautiful tablescape…
Wow, I am not usually into oriental tables, but this one is great, Mary! Such a pretty tablecloth. Love the centerpiece, bamboo is an interesting plant.
