I’m at the table with birds of a feather and  Belmont Round Red Leaves Dinnerware in the Gourmet Basics Collection by Mikasa.

Gourmet Basics by Mikasa Belmont stoneware is available in a prism of colors~ blue, green, black, and red. Plates are available in both a round, traditional shape or a square shape for a modern interpretation for dining.

I had a little bird inspiration for this table from a quilt, used at the table before here and here, with Mikasa Belmont Blue Flowers .

A red decorative bird cage became a centerpiece to house an orchid and some bird finials along with a nest.

And birds flew in, in the form of napkin rings, pairing a plaid with a floral napkin.

Well of course I love this table. I really should think about putting together a little outdoor table, this week, while we have mild temps.

You could not have a more perfectly matched quilt to go with those pretty dishes if you had cut & pieced & quilted it all by yourself. Amazing! You eye for detail never ceases to impress.
I have bird cages yet only once did I think to use one for a centerpiece. I must get mine down & dust them off! As always thanks for the inspiration. You do Mikasa proud!!!

oooops, forgot to say how cool it was that the long lines of the bird cage wires mimic the lines of quilting!! Brilliant!!

Oh Mary, I love how the beautiful quilt ties in all the dishes, napkins, the sweet birds, and the rest of the accessories. The orchid in the birdcage makes for such a pretty centerpiece. I never tire of seeing your gorgeous tablescapes. It must’ve been a beautiful day on the lake!

Birds seem to flock to wherever you are Mary! They are so cute with the happy round red flower dinnerware on your cozy quilt~Love the tall red birdcage for your centerpiece with the orchid blooms peeking out, it’s like a promise of spring! We actually awoke to singing birds yesterday because it was so warm! Happy week, you have brightened my day :)

Your tablescape is absolutely charming! I would never have thought of using a quilt – so clever of you. And all the birds with the cage, too – I could actually manage something like this.
    Thank you for the inspiration.

Love the pairing of the bird cage (you have such a knack for finding the perfect props!) with the quilt, the combo of plaid and flowered napkins and the dishes… Can I be your adopted mom?
