We’ve been warmer than last winter with no severe weather so far but I’d like to see a few snowflakes this winter, the kind that are here today and gone tomorrow. In February please Mother Nature, not March, thank you :)

We haven’t had a lot of snow either this year and that suits me just fine!! We had enough last year to last a lifetime. I like my snow on Christmas day and that’s it. I’m ready to start gardening!! Thanks for the postings and recipes, etc.

I love your post on Keep Clam and Winter On……but I have had enough snow in Pennsylvania. I am ready for Spring. The soup sounds great. I think it’s time for a little more sunshine and a clear driveway (no snow, please).

We’ve been sunny and in the 70s of late, but this morning it’s grey, windy, and chilly again. Old Man Winter comes and goes here in TX. He is often a big tease. Hasn’t brought us any snow this year though……yet!
Your snowy scene is gorgeous. You could sell that image as a framed poster. It’s gorgeous!
I must add the winter cookbook to my list. I’ve always thought that pear tart was amazing.

It is funny that some people are craving some snow and we just want SPRING to come. We have been very fortunate in that we keep just getting a “dusting” every time it snows so no big deal. That minestone is calling my name. I may make that for Super Bowl on Sunday! I don’t mind Winter per se but hate this COLD and not being able to be outside. I can’t wait to open the windows and get some fresh air!!! Have a beautifuk weekend, Mary. XO

We might or not have snow this evening. It is supposed to go about 30 miles north of us and that isn’t far so we may see a flake or two. Our Winter has been very mild!
Your lake pics make me miss our lake place. We need to see about renting a spot before season begins.
It is 12 and sunny here, and we are blanketed with 30 in of snow with another 12 on the way. I don’t mind the here today gone tomorrow stuff, but this is going to be here for weeks. Nothing we can do, make the best of it! I am frozen in my driveway, it was too much snow for us, and no one could use the roads for a few days, so no shovelers. Too late now, it is all ice. I am grateful our power didn’t go out. Cabin fever is a distinct possibility! Downton Abbey is the highlight of my weekend! Glad you are well, Mary!

Thank you for your lovely and inspiring recipes as well as your beautiful photos of the lake. The photos are soothing to the soul. Chloe and Gracie are just darling with their lovely sweater outfits. Our dog Shortie doesn’t like wearing sweaters. Hope your day is a good one. Our area is supposed to get a lot of rain later today and Monday. No snow in the long-range forecast.
