I couldn’t let Valentine’s Day pass without a little *Bee* Mine tabletop fun in the Potting Shed!
I found red chalkboard paper at Target that provided the inspiration for a little whimsy and chalking fun for a tabletop runner.
Just add chalk instead of water for instant blooms and hearts for Valentine’s Day!
Embossed salad plates and stemless wine glasses are abuzz with a bee skep design.
And Valentine’s Day wouldn’t complete without chocolate! Savannah Chocolatier Adam Turoniwas featured in Cooking with Paula Deen magazine.
Savannah Honey Chocolate Truffles, dark chocolate with Savannah Bee Company sourwood honey liquid center, finished with a 24k gold dust for a *Bee* Mine Valentine’s Day treat! Help yourself to a taste at Chocolat by Adam Turoni.
Bee skeps are flowering with red blooms for Valentine’s Day. . .
And embossed salad plates and stemless wine glasses are abuzz with a bee skep design.
Along with bee flatware, ideal for a garden party or *Bee* Mine table.
A bee skep design on Quattro Stagioni canning jars are ideal for a just-picked bouquet from the garden, or the grocery store.
You are killing me with your bee skep cuteness here! I have loved bee skeps since I first owned my own home and had one at the center of my herb garden. That chalkboard paper is something I am going to have to investigate; I love it! I really should get to Target more often than I do. Great table, Mary. Happy Valentine’s Day to you.
The bee dishes made my Valentine heart skip a beat! And I’ve never seen a prettier piece of chocolate! I’ll be in Savannah and Tybee Island at the end of March so I’ll have check out his shop.
*Bee* still my heart, Mary! I am in love with this, from the wonderful bee dishes to your love house for the birds! The gerbera daisies in the jars add such a happy pop of red for a February table. Dark chocolate is my favorite candy, and those truffles with the honey filling must be pure bliss! Happy Valentine’s Week! Linda
Everytime you show that Naturewood pattern, my heart sings~BUT you make it different every time!!!
Beautiful setting, Mary! Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!! Val
Bee still my heart, Mary! What a bee-utiful table for ❤️ Day! The bee dishes are adorable, along with the cute beehive. I’ll be heading to Target to find that red chalkboard paper. You’re a wonder of inspiration to us.
Love love LOVE THIS! Not into vday with all the red this and that, but this is right up my garden loving heart! I own all of this stuff, adore how you made the bees sweet moments shine. Darling with the chalk too. I have had zero creative interest for ages, but seeing this I feel a faint stirring deep down in my toes, off to steal your wonderment of fun ~
Buzzing with delight here! Every detail is as sweet as honey, Mary. The chalk board paper is so clever. I need to make myself drive to Target on a regular basis. It’s a trip either direction to a Target for me, but you find some great things. I’m off to see if I can order some of those chocolates. They must bee mine! ;-)
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and the girls. Love ~ Sadie and Sarah
My head is buzzing with all the wonderful details and delights in your happy Valentine setting Mary! My heart is beating faster viewing the chalkboard paper roll, how much fun is that! Well, I just fell in love with this! BEE still my heart, girl!!!! It is a good thing I am leaving soon to go to lunch or would be crawling through the screen to get one of those chocolates:) I never saw the Pfaltzgraff dishes with a bee motif! I am going to look for some. And the stemless wines are perfect. Love is certainly in the air at your potting shed. Have a beautiful Valentines with your favorite guy!!!!
LOVE this table!! Your bee designed plates, your burlap chargers (going to Hobby Lobby today!), flatware, canning jars—–everything! Thanks for sharing this happy table. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
This is just THE cutest! Chalkboard paper? And in red, no less???!??! VERY cool!!! I can see this for both adult and kid tables! I just know that YOU know how much I love those dishes!!! Your flowers are absolutely the best for this table, too. Bees can’t resist…and neither can guests called to dinner! Beautiful tablescape, Mary!!!
Love the tablescape. I have the Naturewood , but not the Delaney. Please tell me is the color and aged look a exact match? I like the Delaney plate, because it is not so busy like the Naturewood embossed .
Love your bee skep and display of bee dishes. You sure know how to make bee (me) happy. Love your potting shed and you sure do come up with some awesome ideas. I will always bee happy to see what you are doing next.

Mary, I read each and everyone of your posts, but I’ve run out of words to say how much I admire your creativity. What you do time after time is absolutely amazing and it’s obvious that I’m not the only one who appreciate your talents.
Love it ~ ALWAYS love anything with the potting shed! I just get to thinking I have enough dishes and then you show us a table-scape that is too cute and I have to add to my wish list! ha. Honey Bees are a special wonder of God’s creation and I love them. Happy Valentines Day! The chocolate looks delish!
Mary, I catch up on your posts every Saturday morning with a cup of coffee, while everyone else is still asleep & my house is not “buzzing” with busy bees just yet…. I get to drool over 3 -4 posts at a time! Lucky me! So on this quiet Valentine’s Day morning I am loving your creativity & the bouquet of red & white flowers! Thank you & Happy Day to you!
Oh, my! I belong to a brunch group (the Busy Bees) that meets once a month in members’ homes. There are 12 of us, and we’ve been doing this for 5 years now. We even started a “honey pot” that each attendee donates $10 to each month. The hostess of the month decides what charity/needy person/cause gets the money for that month. We’ve helped from Haiti to down the street with our honey pot. When I saw your table setting, I HAD to have the salad plates for the next time I’m hostess. Found them on e-bay, and they blend perfectly with some off white Wedgewood plates I’ve had for years. Thank you so much for your beautiful blog and especially for telling us where to find the items.
Blessings…
Beeutiful!

Hi Deanah, The Delaney blends with the Naturewood embossed plate, but doesn’t match exactly. The Delaney is a little bit whiter in color.
