Ingredients

1 – 2 lemons

3 3/4 cups blueberries

¾ cup sugar

1 container (17-18 ounces) of nonfat Greek yogurt

*1 package (3 ounces) ladyfingers (either soft or hard Italian-style)

*I used the soft variety of ladyfingers from my grocery store but this recipe was tested by Good Housekeeping using both soft and hard (Italian-style) ladyfingers (sometimes called Savoiardi) with good results for both types. For the best texture, let the tiramisu sit in the refrigerator overnight.

In medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups blueberries, ¼ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water.  Heat over medium heat 5 minutes or until blueberries soften and juices thicken, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, transfer to bowl and stir in 1 ½ cups blueberries. Set aside.

In microwave safe small bowl, combine ¼ cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute. Stir in 3 tablespoons lemon juice and ½ teaspoon lemon peel.

In an 8-inch square dish, arrange half of ladyfingers. Brush with half of lemon syrup. Spoon blueberry mixture evenly over ladyfingers. Arrange remaining ladyfingers over blueberries. Brush with remaining lemon syrup. Spoon yogurt mixture on top, spreading evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To serve, top tiramisu with remaining ¾ cup blueberries and garnish with lemon peel or mint if desired.

  • From lemon(s), grate 1 1/2 teaspoons peel and squeeze 1/4 cup juice.
  • In medium saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups blueberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon water. Heat on medium 5 minutes, or until blueberries soften and juices thicken, stirring occasionally. Transfer to medium bowl and stir in 1 1/2 cups blueberries. Set aside.
  • Prepare lemon syrup: In microwave-safe small bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar and remaining 3 tablespoons water. Cook in microwave on High 1 minute. Stir in 3 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 teaspoon lemon peel.
  • In medium bowl, stir together nonfat yogurt and remaining 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel.
  • In 8" by 8" ceramic or glass baking dish, arrange half of ladyfingers. Brush with half of lemon syrup. Spoon blueberry mixture evenly over ladyfingers. Arrange remaining ladyfingers over blueberries. Brush with remaining lemon syrup. Spoon yogurt mixture on top, spreading evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To serve, top tiramisu with remaining 3/4 cup blueberries

    I would love some for breakfast please Mary! I can’t believe this show stopper is just a few healthy ingredients~ I’m a firm believer that lemons are so good for you and paired with blueberries makes this recipe a win win! I am trying to substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream whenever possible, I can’t wait to try this!     looks very refreshing, but i have a hard time with the name tiramisu, which to me screams coffee liquor, this is gorgeous and i am sure oh so tasty, but i recently made tiramisu and omg the mascapone and coffee are what melt me to the quick! i do adore lemons and bluberries, and more power to you that you could find 3 packages of lady fingers, in my store they sell NONE, they keep them hidden in the back for the bakery to use only, you have to beg to get to buy them! i may try this with lemoncello, i think its the “fumes” i will miss! gorgeous pics and kind of nice to have my mouth watering before the sun comes up!

    Lovely recipe and photos! I am continually attempting to create recipes with lavender and I think this could be a great recipe to experiment with. Lemon and blueberries pair so well with a hint of lavender…perhaps make a lavender/lemon syrup to brush on the lady fingers? Thank you again for such a wonderful site and always a great way to start my day!

    So beautiful…I love making trifles and tiramisu…Although blueberries are being adapted to our climate and grown in certain areas of the island, they can be quite expensive as they’re not grown commercially…yet.

    I have napkins in the same pattern as the tablecloth in your photos. Can’t remember now if they originally came from Now Designs or Necessities.

    When I entered this recipe in Myfitness Pal the calorie count was 265/serving not 165 as stated in the recipe. Not sure what to think?…..

      I entered the ingredients for the recipe as written by Good Housekeeping [1 – 2 lemons, 3 3/4 cups blueberries, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 (17-18 ounce) container of nonfat Greek yogurt, 1 (3 ounce) package ladyfingers} into Calorie Count to analyze it and got 109 calories per serving.
