I’m at the table with a little red, white, blue and green and Pfaltzgraff Capri Dinnerware.
Vines, flowers, and ornamental scrolls adorn the borders of the Capri dinnerware, a newly introduced pattern from Pfaltzgraff.
I cut some Endless Summer Hydrangeas from the garden for some blue and red coleus stems for a centerpiece for the table.
An 8-Light Metal Candle Centerpiece with glass hurricane center serves as a vase for flowers and centerpiece for the table.
I used 4 of the glass votive holders as mini vases for stems of coleus and white angelonia I have growing in a pot.
Angelonia has become my new favorite annual this summer! It comes in a variety of colors, grows in full sun and is drought tolerant. The white variety stays more compact than some of the other colors and grows about a foot tall.
I used the Alum-dipping method to keep cut my cut hydrangeas stems from performing their mysterious wilting act. It works like a charm!
Pfaltzgraff Capri dinnerware is crafted of stoneware and is microwave and dishwasher safe.
The salad plate features a scalloped rim in contrast to the traditional round shape of the dinner plate.
Capri Frost Flatware has a frosted polished finish with a scalloped shape to coordinate with the dinnerware.

@Mary, I have your recipe for flower preservative..is there a time limit on how long it keeps and if you have any leftover, do you keep it in the frig or not?? Thank you😊
Hi Ellen, I only mix the floral preservative that I’m going to use at one time. I just read here to mix it with warm water since it will move into the stems more quickly and better than cold water will :)

The Capri dinnerware is such a vibrant pattern, and you, of course Mary, displayed it with such style. I love the pretty centerpiece with hydrangea and coleus. I have never grown angelonia, but I should try it since it likes the drought. Great job, Mary!

Beautiful! Wish I had the alum-dipping method 2 years ago. We had my daughter’s wedding in Spain and the hydrangeas were wilted by the time everyone walked into the reception! I have made a note of how it should be done in the future! Many thanks.
That’s a great new pattern- love it in the outdoors! I am not familiar with the alum dipping method for the hydrangeas. Can’t hurt to try! Your ruby red stemware reminds me that I have some that I keep forgetting to use! The coleus looks gorgeous against the pretty blue hydrangeas.
Beautiful! Your hydrangeas look perfect with the dinnerware. Very happy to hear about the alum method. I have been very frustrated with hydrangeas the last few weeks. I also like your use of the red coleus. I would have never thought about putting that together and it looks great. I like the way the burlap and wicker set everything off so nicely.
