Make these quick and easy frozen dog treats for summer. Only four ingredients and a blender required and your pup will lap them up!
Chloe and Gracie have some frozen dog treats to share that are quick and easy to make this summer!
And so good your 4-legged friends will be begging for more!
I found variations of this copycat recipe for Frosty Paws on Pinterest. When I buy Frosty Paws, the serving size is larger than I like to give Chloe and Gracie, so I only let them eat half at a time before wrestling the container away to put back in the freezer and save for another day.
I made these frozen treats in ice cubes trays for smaller size treats, but you can customize them for the size of your dog. Freeze your treats in a muffin pan, small paper cups, or plastic containers.
To make these frozen dog treats you’ll need:
1 banana
32 oz. plain yogurt, Greek or regular, unsweetened
(I used Greek yogurt so the mixture was thicker and the mini dog biscuit would stand up as a handle)
2 heaping tablespoons of *peanut butter
*make sure your peanut butter does not contain Xylitol, a natural sugar alcohol sweetener which is harmful to dogs
You can vary these ingredients~ add an additional banana, more peanut butter, pumpkin puree, or leftover cooked oatmeal. Just make sure your yogurt does not contain artificial sweeteners (harmful to dogs) or added sugars.
Place all your ingredients in the blender or food processor and puree them.
Place in your containers and allow them to freeze solid.
When ready to serve, pop them out of your trays or peel the paper off your cups. The dog biscuit makes a convenient and tasty handle to pull the frozen treats out of the trays.
While your pups are eating, sneak up and place a dollar store headband on them, so they’re too distracted to shake it off :)
These frozen treats are messy on hot days so you’ll want to give them to your dogs outdoors or where it’s easy to clean up.

Oh, what fun! I love your girls. they are so adorable all decked out for the 4th!
Thanks for sharing this! Our pups love Frosty Paws but I have the same issue with the size ~ it’s too much at one time, but cutting it smaller or getting back if not made smaller is a pain! Love this size and the little dog biscuit handles. Pups are going to be #happygoggies this holiday :-) Bwg ~~~
Lucky, lucky dogs!!! 😍😍
Thank you so much for the recipe. Love Chloe & Gracie!! They are both beautiful. I have a white westiepoo and she never looks as white & clean as Chloe & Gracie. I know she will love these frozen treats.

Frozen treats and dogie tiaras! I better not let Sadie see this post. She will be nudging me for the frozen treats for certain. The tiara, maybe not so much. ;-) Wish I could get her to wear one, but don’t think her soft, silky hair will hold it in place. Gracie and Chloe have the perfect coif. Happy 4th to you and those adorable girls.

What a wonderful, cool, refreshing treat for this super hot holiday. I put ice cube in my pup’s water, and she does appreciate it!!! Thanks for the cool recipe Love how the girls have their own picnic blanket, decked out with placemats and pillows, and how they are so cute together. It is always a joy to see someone love their fur babes like you do. So endearing, how you care for and enjoy them like you do
It has been record breaking, three digits hot for the past couple weeks here in the Rocky Mountains of Utah. We have planned to go north in the summer to get a break from the heat, but were told it is 97 degrees at the ski resort in Sun Valley!! Hope you stay cool with the wine coolers this 4th, Cheers
Oh my goodness, Chloe and Gracie look like they’re in puppy heaven licking those frosty paws. How cute they look with their neck scarves and headbands!!! What fun, Mary, those little pups are, and what a wonderful mom you are to them.

These tea books look so delightful! I love green tea of any kind and enjoy making quiche often.
Your giveaways are always so special, thanks!
What a delightful treat for a hot afternoon! Chloe and Gracie are so lucky. Thanks for the recipe. I can tell you really love those pooches!
I’m going to make these for our Grandpup Sam (the Pug)
When I read your recipe I tried it and our Sophie loves it. I was tired of paying so much for frosty paws. My husband and I decided that if Sophie didn’t like it we would eat them. No chance. Sophie gobbled them down. Cherry g
My Bichon, DixieBear has the whole family wrapped around her little white paw. Bichons are the most lovable and funny breed! I can’t wait to make these frozen treats for her and my grand fur baby. Thanks for sharing this recipes. 🐶🐾👍
The recipe is fine and well illustrated . Your concern over natural yogurt is admirable. Why then, would you add this disgusting Milk Bone product which contains the worst ingredients.https://www.facebook.com/doctor.karen.becker/videos/10155402761862748/
It’s not a Milkbone, it’s an Alpo Wholesome Biscuit: https://homeiswheretheboatis.net/2014/12/29/a-happy-and-healthy-new-year-with-wholesome-treats-alpodogbiscuit/
This is so cute! I can’t wait to make these for my little guy! Thanks for the idea 🙂
Great Ideal going to try this on my Yorkie thank you very much I love the idea!!!!
My dog loves one of these on a hot day on the porch (so it doesn’t get covered in dirt). Nice smaller portion than the Frosty Paws. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I have a mini wiener “ Charlie Brown “, he would love these. I wouldn’t know what to do without him. I can spoil him more, with healthy treats.
