Mary Mary Mary, your talent and design sense is just beyond my wildest dreams!!
I would love to be able to meet u when we come down for our little getaway the end of Oct.!
We now are getting that rain that u had over the weekend, our yards and plants so need it!
I hope that u have a blessed day and enjoy the fall that seems to b passing us so quickly!
Your attention to detail and creative display is beautiful beyond words…The pumpkin in the trowel and the garden tool anchored in the drawer pull is so “naturally displayed” that it is easy to miss….I revisit the post numerous times to see what I missed on the “last visit”!
Lovely potting shed! You have an eye to bring things together . Hope the storm that is going up the coast brings you rain but no damage. Stay safe!🍁🍁🌴☀️
Each day is brightened by your creativity and artistic flare. Thank you for sharing. It’s a rainy day here in Pennsylvania. Hope you are getting some much needed rain as well.
Pumpkin Perfection Mary! One little old ladder providing an endless playground of possibilities! I love the rusty chippy bins and the wave you weave so many wonderful surprises throughout your display, books, tools, china and blooms~as always, it’s a total delight :) Happy Fall!

I’m loving your autumn filled ladder, Mary. Those chippy drawers were a sweet antique find and I also like your 1952 Planting Guide and your antique book on Trees. Enjoy every single day of “the year’s last loveliest smile”! 🍂🍁🍂
I’m with ya Mary..Fall seems to be too short and Winters too long..love all the pumpkins, flowers, etc..and that wonderful Potting Shed!! Thanks for sharing.. 😍🌻🌼🌿🍁🍂🎃🎃🎃🎃
First of all where did you get the gorgeous door mat? I love the drawers and how you have “planted” them! It is all beautiful as always. You are so vERY talented!! Have a beautiful day. I agree: where DID Sept. go????
One word – FABULOUS!!! One question – where did you find the smaller olive bucket? I have a large one and it needs company! Your post absolutely made my day. Thank you!
I think this is my favorite Fall post of the season. So many sweet elements to it, and your photos are fab. Can’t say enough good stuff about this, Thanks, and I’m kicking myself for passing up a free ladder on the side of the road, last weekend. (Pocket protector was with and didn’t feel like arguing)…Grins and happy fall!, Sandi
Mary, it’s such fun to see what your creative mind will come up with for each new season in the potting shed. Perfection! I spent the day at Round Top antiquing yesterday, and though there were plenty of creative displays, you are the master. I can just imagine how much fun it is to play in the potting shed arranging all these chippy, vintage garden treasures. One thing I brought home yesterday were a pair of small Eunenia topiaries. Do you find these in NC? They are in the Myrtle family. I’ve had great luck with large ones on my front porch, but was excited to find a small version that I’m going to try growing in the sun room.
Very pretty Mary! Lovin’ all your pumpkins and the cute green acorns! I’m with you, Sept did speed right by, hopefully we can slow Boo Month down a bit:@)
You just amaze me!!! Such inspiration— there are sooooooo many out there that have blogs and decorate— but yours in one of the best!! I am going to redo my ladder now and must find some chippy drawers!!! Thanks for the inspiration — I love FALL too!!!!
Love your blog and your pictures are so good! Thank you for not filling it up with annoying pop up ads that make it hard to read like so many blogs have done recently!
It appears you’ve decorated the “step between summer and winter” beautifully. I especially love the blue and white that you incorporated into the vignette. So pretty!
I must say that Fall is my favorite time of year with regard to your potting shed. The way you display the flowers and pumpkins and other fabulous pieces just makes my heart skip a beat. There are not enough words to describe the beauty of these displays….

All smiles, such a fun display, like a magical work shop to play in endlessly… the last shot is my favorite :-)

Thanks Pinky! The pumpkin mat came from Target, it’s with the Smith & Hawkin items, not with the other doormats :)
Lovely. I live less than 30 miles from Hampton, Iowa and shopped at Ferris Nursery. This is a beautiful time in Iowa, too.
That is certainly better than “Fall from a ladder!!” Who knew “chippy” drawers could be SO BEAUTIFUL!! Thoroughly enjoyed every photo!!! franki
Always my favorite place and season…out in your Potting Shed!!
One word – FABULOUS!!! One question – where did you find the smaller olive bucket? I have a large one and it needs company! Your post absolutely made my day. Thank you!
Thank you Donna! It came from Walmart several years ago with a mum :)

IN
p.s. while in Ohio we stopped at a pumpkin patch and brought a pinkish color pumpkin, and the purchase price went to breast cancer research.
I’d be happy to live in your shed!! ;)

Mary,
Love your beautiful potting shed decorations. Happy Fall!! With the weather being chilly it puts one more in the mood for the fall season.
