The lights all aglow, the twinkle to see.

What looks better than red plaid at Christmas? Nothing! Just beautiful.

You’re killin’ me, Mary…I want every set of dishes you display!!! I love the touch of blue in this version of the Lenox Winter Greetings. I had to go look up “Nuthatch” as I was not familiar with that bird. Of course, we have tons of red cardinals here in Ohio, as it is our state bird. I love to see them against the white snow…that is, if we ever get any!! Such a warm winter here…I’m loving it!
Your plaids are so warm & welcoming & now I’m coveting your little bird ornaments, too. You should do a close-up post on just your tree…it looks luscious!!!

Thank you for sharing yet another stunning tablescape. Happiest of Holidays to you and yours. In my picture is my shed which I decorate each year to look like a gingerbread house. The rest of the year it is pretty plain, but you are inspiring me

Very pretty table. I so enjoy all things that are from nature. The besuti birds, nests, and greenery are all delightful.

Oh Mary, what a delight to wake up and see this gorgeous table, and to read your sweet poem!! It all looks so festive…the centerpiece in the urn is perfect, and the dishes, goblets, and flatware are all wonderful. The sweet nests make for another visual treat. I loved seeing your twinkling tree in the background, but I want to see more of it. I can never get enough of the beauty that you share!

I love that beautiful Lenox pattern as you can use it throughout the winter season….of course, another gorgeous table Mary….adore the birds….they are one of my very favorite things to decorate with and to admire in nature. Looks like we are in for a warmer Christmas this year.

And why is it that when I set my table last night getting ready for our big Christmas Eve dinner….with those exact same dishes…that my table doesn’t NOT look like yours????? Hmmmmm….but you’ve inspired me to get back to the drawing board and make it a bit more she-she!!!!!! Will be putting on my blog hopefully later today!
Cardinals are a symbol of my mom always swooping down to play with me from above…..use them in so many things around here!
Hope your holiday week is full of snuggles with those white fur babies!!!

Very sweet, I smile at at least 4 things we jointly own, only you do I ever run into so many things I own…. I think shopping with you would be a battle to the death for all the cute things this world has to offer! Been pouring by the sea today, looks mighty cozy by your tree today, your tree must have 100s of radkos glistening over you shoulder, it’s been so dark today I have had the tree lit since 5am, yes, ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

I LOVE IT!! I have 1 Lenox Winter Greeting Plate that I have on display in my entry way on the hall tree table – it is stunning all by itself, but your table is absolutely lovely. Chickadee’s and Cardinals are my favorite. I have a large kitchen window that looks out on my deck which has a bird bath with heater in it. All winter long I get to see them getting a drink, but for the last 3 years I added small to medium white pine branches surrounding the bath and because it adds a little more shelter they are popping in and out all day long. So fun to watch. I am all prepared to make my Gingerbread House – Bird Feeder while on Christmas break. Also plan to make the Panettone Trifle with Orange Curd and Raspberries for desert over the holidays. Keep these WONDERFUL ideas/ recipes coming Mary – I am totally enthralled and your devoted fan. God bless and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! (Happy birthday to me on the 24th! – last birthday in the 50’s decade! ho ho ho)

Love the tablescape! It is very similar to my dining room tablescape, which includes a Williams-Sonoma tartan plaid tablecloth, Winter Greetings place settings and red chargers and goblets. The bird accents are the perfect touch! Merry Christmas, Mary, to you and your loved ones, both human and furry!

  28. December 21, 2015 at 11:24 pm

I just love this pattern from Lenox, it is actually my favorite but I have another pattern. Your centerpiece is gorgeous, I wish I had access to some real greens. I am hoping you will do a post on your tree, it looks beautiful from what I see. We will be going to our daughters on Christmas eve to be with Colleen when she wakes up:):) So looking forward to this Christmas! Wishing you a merry and blessed Christmas, Mary.

  29. December 21, 2015 at 11:25 pm

PS, forgot to mention, I always want to pin your pictures but I hover over the pictures but a pin button never shows up?

    • December 22, 2015 at 6:38 am

Hi Pinky, The pin it button pops up in the upper left hand corner when you hover over it. Wishing you and your family Merry Christmas and hope Santa is good to Colleen! :)

Mary, another gorgeous table with one of my favorite Lenox patterns! I love birds and any table featuring them draws me in! Wishing you and yours a joy-filled Christmas! Pam @ everydayliving.me

Birds of a Feather, we do flock together! Your Christmas setting is simply magnificent. I wonder if anyone appreciates it any more than I, since we are not going to be home for the holidays and I chose not to set a table this year. Winter Greetings is my very favorite and mine remain in a box in storage. I will simply enjoy their magic vicariously through your perfect design and inspiring poetry. I, too, live in NC and own a Yorkie/Bichon named Chloe.

Thank you for all your efforts throughout the year to uplift the lives of others through your expression of a great love of life.

    Merry Christmas
