Do you have a new server? What do I need to do on this end? I am really missing your beautiful and creative blog, Home Is Where The Boat is!!

Happy New Year, Mary…Love the vintage greeting cards!

Your first photo reminded me I used to have a huge wooden bowl given to me by a dear friend in Ohio, in which I always kept apples and oranges, as well as pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts and sometimes added the little boxes of raisins…anything in that bowl were ‘free snacks’ my kids could eat at any time of day…This bowl usually sat on the big coffee table in our living room or on the kitchen counter.

    Mary dear,
Just want to to thank you for your beautiful bog and all the TLC you put into it. You have had such a positive impact in enriching my life and sharing with those around me. I love how you celebrate each season and your posts have inspired me to do the same. As a former busy professional, in the health field, my husband and I ate meals at the counter (on white plates) or on the fly. In the last year all that has changed and we share most meals together at the table set with beautiful seasonal plates and lots of color. I have also reconnected with many friends around a beautiful table and have been grateful for your easy, tasty recipes that have equipped me with the confidence that I could do it. I have been able to use many items I already have in many new ways so they are useful through more than one season. Thanks to you, I can remember every season and occasion and friends more vividly, and they can also. This year I even hosted a gathering of friends to learn to make suet for the birds during the extreme harsh winter weather. I surprised them with a breakfast on a festive table with plates with birds on them. We had a wonderful time, learned a new skill, passed it on to other friends and the birds will benefit all winter at everyone's house. Great memories, great year, so much fun!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do and share.
