Just lovely, Mary! So glad you were on the receiving end of a prize! You and ML are always so generous, it is nice to see a few others reciprocate.
Hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! It is supposed to be 10 degrees Sunday here in Southampton, that’s cold even for Long Island.

Mary, I flew over immediately when I saw Alice in Wonderland. I am most definitely an Alice fan. I have the book, and it is wonderful! It’s a book one can judge by it’s cover and not be disappointed. I’ve not tried anything, but it is full of fun things. I swoon over your Grace’s Teaware black and white each time I see it. I keep watching Home Goods, TJ, and Marshall’s hoping they will have it again. Darling heart tea infuser too. As always, each detail is charming.
I hosted my antique club here today. My table was set with a Queen of Hearts theme, so I had lots of fun pulling it all together. Hope to share photos soon.

I’m new to your blog & I’m so impressed!! Lovely photos, beautifully styled. My niece had an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding last year. She managed to find an old Alice tea pot. Unfortunately at the end of the evening one of the waiters dropped it & smashed it to smithereens. He was mortified!

  26. February 11, 2016 at 9:26 pm

You have outdone yourself yet again. Darling and creative post.

Aw, thanks for the “shout out.” I’m happy you’re enjoying the book! I do love all things Alice, and an Alice-themed Valentine’s table is truly a wonderful idea. I love the black, white, red, and pink. I also enjoyed the meringue cookie post. They do look like little roses. Shanley Belle (my oldest daughter) wants to make them this weekend!

    Adorable post, Mary!

  30. February 14, 2016 at 10:04 am

Mary, I’m trying to stay warm here with my own cup of tea but I know if I was sitting at this magical tea table I would be much happier! Ever since Alice’s 150th bday last year I have been fascinated by all things Alice and your table is just perfect with the clocks and keys and the dainty teapot filled with the Queen and her hearts. So beautiful! Linda

Mary, I always love your posts. This was really nice and different. When I see all you do I wonder how long it takes you to set it up, to bake and most of all I would love to see where you store all of your dishes. Do you have a dish room? I wonder this almost every time.
    Warm Hugs,
    Donna

I can remember being terrified by the story of Alice in Wonderland. I remember crying and wanting my sister to stop reading it aloud!!! Yes, I was weird as a kid! :-) Gorgeous table!
