Sprung has sprung in our neck of the woods with temperatures in the 70s and 80s this week! With warmer weather comes porch and outdoor dining and thoughts of flowers, bunnies and eggs with Easter less than two weeks away!
I pulled out my wedding china, Fitz & Floyd Classique d’Or, chosen 32 years ago. Coordinating Tulipe d’Or salad plates and mugs with their vibrant blooms are ready for an Easter parade of pastels, paired with a plaid Tommy Hilfiger tablecloth from HomeGoods, as a foundation for the table.
I set the table two ways, playing with flowers and dishes for a little Easter fun. The first way was with a centerpiece of tulips in a vase with jelly beans that look like speckled eggs, minus their PEEPS. Hop over here for a peep :) and an easy and edible centerpiece!
The bunnies were the inspiration for the Easter table. The tall dapper bunny, dressed in his pastel foil Easter finery~ ascot, coat and vest, was found at HomeGoods, resembling chocolate but calorie free. :)
The four smaller bunnies were at Hobby Lobby and 40% off.
Just for fun, I removed the vase and spread the bunnies and eggs down the runner in the middle of the table. Jelly beans went into tall, delicate flutes at each place setting, part of my mother-in-law’s wedding crystal pattern, chosen 60+ years ago.
I found gold foil chick and bunny eggs on an Easter egg hunt hiding on the aisle at HomeGoods last year. They hopped in my cart to pair with my Tulipe d’Or pattern with plans for an Easter table.
Tulips from the centerpiece were moved to the mugs as a vase at each place setting.

I love these tables! Spring plaid – so fresh and pretty. I have three of those foil bunnies from Home Goods. I just adore them. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love this table setting, Mary! The china is gorgeous and so SPRING, and the faux chocolate bunnies are adorable–will have to hunt some down for my table.
Mary, what a lovely Easter table! The plaid tablecloth is a great foundation for your beautiful china…tulips always make me happy! Pam @ Everyday Living
Lovely tablescape. The colors are wonderful, and the bunnies from Home Goods look like foil wrapped chocolate. Love them! Also the tulip plates are so pretty. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers.
Beautiful breath of Spring! I just spotted the foil bunnies in my local TJMaxx, so they are still available. Thank you for a lovely start to the week!!
Your wedding china is beautiful Mary, and perfect with your golden eggs and bunnies. So the large bunny that looks like chocolate is faux? How fun! I’m crazy about the eggs with the gold chicks and bunnies on them, so cute! Spring seems to be springing everywhere early this year, and it’s very welcome. I am dying to get my hands on some fresh tulips, and your centerpiece is beautiful. Your table looks great both ways!

*SWOON* I am totally enamoured with this entire table, Mary! Your Tulipe d’Or salad plates and mugs are BEAUTIFUL…I’ve never seen them before.
I am also very, very jealous of that gorgeous lacey cutwork runner you’ve used. I need to head to my Home Goods store more often. It is just a wee bit farther away than my other haunts but certainly worth the drive, given the list of great items you find. Just lovely!!!!
Hi Mary, Your lovely china is perfect for a spring table ~~ elegant and pretty and I would enjoy a feast here with the no-cal bunnies in their Easter parade! Just lovely all around! It’s warming up here too, but cooler temps coming again. It sounds like you are having a wonderful spring for boating. Linda
What a perfect pattern you chose for your wedding pattern, Mary! It’s so timeless and classic and goes with anything. Your foiled bunnies are just wonderful, and I thought there was real chocolate underneath! I so enjoyed your Easter inspirational table both ways!
Just want you to know that I’m usually grinning from ear-to-ear when reading your posts. They are so visually stimulating and provide much inspiration and joy. Thank you for all you do!
Mary, When I first saw the plaid tablecloth at Home Goods, I purchased it with spring in mind. After a few days I was rethinking my choice, and decided that it might be too bold to go with my Easter plan. I have been waiting to see how you would use that tablecloth since it was visible in the background of a couple of your earlier posts. I returned the tablecloth but now see from your lovely table that I was wrong! I need to be a bit more open to mixing things and playing with scale and patterns. Thank you for your wonderful posts they are both a visual treat and inspiration. MM
What a happy place to be…love everything about this post…especially your chosen china. Everything is so ‘spring delicate’ that invites one to come, relax and be refreshed. Thanks for you daily posts…you are appreciated…
Gorgeous! I fell in love with that Tommy Hilfiger pattern, but was only able to score napkins. All of the tablecloths were already gone. I have already planned my table this year, but I’m thinking that I will use the TH napkins with a plain cloth and the cute bunny plates from 2015 Crate & Barrel. The colors are perfect together. I wish I could post a photo to show you.
I love your wedding china. It is so elegant with the gold trim and textured edging and lovely tulips. Have you used it in a tablescape before? It looks beautiful on the pastel check tablescloth. Your centerpiece with tulips and jelly beans and all the bunnies and eggs with gilding look perfect for an Easter table.
I am IN LOVE with this table. EVERY detail. Your MIL’s crystal is gorgeous!!! (And on a side note, I found some of my Grandmothers crystal today in a box that never got opened!!!). Your dishes are gorgeous and I love the bunnies and the chick and bunny eggs!!! The tulips are some of the prettiest I have ever seen. Stunning table. And your photos are amazing.
It’s over the top Mary! Your china is just beautiful – and I love the tulip plates. Surprised at the faux bunnies – thought they were chocolate. Love it all! Happy Spring!
Ooh I’m head over heals for the Fitz and Floyd dinnerware! Love the white runner on the plaid and your floral arrangement. The foil bunnies are so sweet!
Mary, somehow I think I missed this when you first posted. I do think this may be a favorite for me. I like the elegance of the tulip plates paired with those pretty eggs w/ gold details and the delicate details of the centerpiece. It all looks stunning. I want to sit at this table and savor the elegant beauty of those foil bunnies and gorgeous tulips. I think I need to add some foil bunnies to my Easter stash. ‘-)
Off to pin some of these images!
Year round I am mad for plaid and this tablecloth is gorgeous! You could have fooled me with those bunnies, I thought they were chocolate. Great way to get the look without the calories! The salad plates and mugs are so pretty and the perfect pieces for this beautiful table. Happy Easter
Stunning table. Looks like you have always had beautiful taste. Love your wedding china and that the foil bunny is calorie free. The plaid tablecloth is so eye-catching.
Came back again from Foodie Friday to view this gorgeous table once again. It is simply stunning. Wishing you and your family a very happy and blessed Easter!

Happy Easter! Your tablescape is perfection!!
I adore peonies and had to pin the peony apron to my Gardening board. Peonies also make me think of my mother and sister and Giverny!
I may be too late but I will look for the charming faux chocolate bunnies. I also love the pastel eggs with the gold bunnies.
