I couldn’t resist pulling out some new dishes in celebration, ideal for a Spring or Easter table. Spring Garden Salad Plates hopped home with me after hoarding a gift card from Williams-Sonoma since Christmas!
Bunny, bird, chick, butterfly and blooms with a soft blue sky border salad plates are layered over white plates and woven white wicker placemats.
House of Dorchester chocolates provide sweet sentiments wrapped with vintage Easter greetings.
And a pastel quilted coverlet provides a foundation for the table.
Our azaleas are starting to bloom, just in time to fill egg shell vases in floral egg cups.
A three-tiered server/cupcake stand provides a quick & easy Easter centerpiece for the table.
Speckled egg jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and eggs make a sweet 5-minute centerpiece for your Easter table or buffet that’s edible too.
And petite gateau floral baking cups filled with paper shred make decorative treat cups for Easter greeting chocolates and a Joyous Eastertide.

Well now, all the work I put into setting up my dining room table yesterday looks like crap compared to YOUR beautiful table decorations, Mary. *sigh* I want to re-do the whole thing now. You make me want to run right over to Kohl’s to see if they still have that pastel quilted coverlet…beautiful!! The little chocolates go so well with your gorgeous new plates, one would think they were custom ordered to match. Only you would have spotted such combinations! I sure wish our Home Goods was closer to me & our WS hadn’t closed. *whine*
Thanks for all the wonderful ideas….I’m going shopping just as soon as I finish tennis today!!!!!!!
Rettabug, did you receive my reply yesterday? I hope so.. I too have tried to find things that are on here but to no avail. My HomeGood store is too far to be running to all the time. I found similar cute things at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, some at Jo Ann’s but lately I have found very cute, affordable items at Cracker Barrel. Try it!! We have a shop here called The Christmas Tree Shop and it only has Christmas things at Christmas but they carry everything for all holidays and at a very good price.. Google it to see if one is close!!! Happy hunting and I don’t mean eggs!! 💐💐💐💐
Ha! Your post made me laugh! Don’t you know all of our tables look like crabapple next to the QUEEN OF DECOR ! That’s what I call her! Ha! Hey! We will still all have a wonderful Easter! Let’s not show anybody her post!! They will never have anything to compare it too!! Ha!ha!
I am not as ready as you are for Easter, not yet! Shelley had her SOAR (student orientation advising and registration) at her college this week. I don’t know how I’m going to handle being an empty nester in the fall *sadface*
Because we’ve been so busy and Big Sis has a huge test Monday after Easter, we aren’t doing much…..just church and a light brunch, probably.
I love your bunny plates! And your sweet French wire tiered centerpiece is the *best* I love everything about your table, Mary!
Mary, This color combination is just gorgeous! The plates are so tempting and the tiny egg cups and coverlet are the perfect complements. I just love it all! Happy Easter. Linda
Oh Mary, I’m swooning over your pretty table! Aren’t those W-S plates just beautiful works of art? The quilt from Kohl’s makes for the prettiest table covering. I’d just love to linger over a meal at your house and take in all the details in person, and of course, nibble on some of your chocolates from your tiered centerpiece. It’s just lovely, Mary! Happy Easter Blessings!
Things are blooming everywhere at your house Mary! I love your sweet new plates and all the chocolate treats just waiting to be gobbled up~ my favorite is the napkins, they remind me of those old fashioned candy dots on the long sheets of white paper, adorable! Happy Easter, I’ve got to start hopping, my bunnies arrive tonight!

So pretty and Springy. Cold and gray here today so your table was a very welcome color infusion. I hope to get to WS and PB outlets today, Easter marked down 70%. I usually get some nice Easter gifts. 38 for dinner so lots of cooking and baking will be going on! Happy Easter, Mary!
Your Easter table is so beautiful! Every detail, the plates, centerpiece and all your collectibles make it a Special Easter celebration! Thank you so much for sharing!! Happy Easter to you and your family!
Hugs,
Jody
I love your vintage/ shabby chic Easter table. It is beautiful. I had to share. Love it! I usually go hunting for vinatge plates and settings for moments like these.
Oh WOW, that is my style of table setting! Love the Victorian images, the quilt table cover, the three tier stand and everything on it!! Love it!
Have a blessed Easter!

So cheery and happy! I especially love the flowered egg cups. They remind me of an English Tea Room we used to go to in Windsor all the time. Happy Easter!
Mary, this table is springtime abundance. I hadn’t seen those WS plates, and they are adorable. Love the mix of flowers and little critters. Your flowers, egg cups, and candy details all make me want to bask in this abundance of springtime pastels. Perfection as always! And I love your byline for the blog. Is this new, or am I just not observant? ;-)
Your table settings are always such an inspiration, Mary, and this is no exception. If I have to name one thing I love about this one, it would have to be the Azalea blossoms in the little egg cup! I find that to be such a clever idea!
Confession: After seeing this tablescape on Friday morning, I looked online to try & order the plates–WS website listed as sold out..So…I called the closest WS and found they only had chicks & butterflies left..the sweet lady on the phone said she would hold 2 of each for me….(but I really wanted the bunny plate…) so I called the next closest WS and found they had 2 bunny plates, but no bird…(and I also wanted the bird to complete the set)…so I called the third WS and found they ONLY had 2 bird plates left!!!! All three of the WS “peeps” were so helpful & let me pay by phone & held the plates for me. Saturday morning I set out on my wild goose (plate) chase & drove around metro Atlanta to three WS stores & when it was all said & done, I had 8 plates –2 of each pattern– and the best part–they had been marked down to $5 each!!! (no telling how much I spent in gas driving around ATL) My family thought I was crazy but I was so excited & can’t wait to use them next Easter (we were going to my Mom’s for Easter lunch so I wasn’t setting a table) But next weekend, I am going to “play with my plates” and set my table! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
This was a beautiful tablescape. Love that color blue. I was in a WS/PB outlet over the weekend and saw those dishes. I was tempted but somehow resisted. The quilt makes such a nice backdrop. The three tier tray is so cute- I love those paper baking cups- great ideas all around!
I love everything about this, the Spring vibe, the vintage, the cutsie, the nummy, the sweet…little chicks. Grins, Thanks for the smiles and ideas, Sandi
What an adorable and sweet table, I love it! Your new bunny plates and centerpiece are both so very festive and cheery, you’ve created an Easter table best !
Could you please tell me where you purchased the spring chick dessert plate ? It’s not part of the bunny and bird collection but they are all very sweet .
I was tempted by those plates as well. They look darling here and I love those chocolates! I also love the flowers in the eggs cups.
