I’m bringing the garden to the table with Tulips from the Kim Parker Collection, by Gourmet Basics by Mikasa.
A vibrant floral pattern adorns each piece of the Kim Parker Tulips dinnerware, blooming with bold flowers from the borders of the plates, to the interiors of the bowls and mugs.
And embossed floral accents, around the rim of the dinner plates and bowls, add a subtle blooming detail and pattern.
Tulips and alstroemeria from the grocery store, join foliage from the garden, for a centerpiece for the table.
Kim Parker, artist and entrepreneur, is the founder and creative director of her namesake lifestyle brand, and brings her signature style of modern floral art and design to the table in collaboration with Lifestyle Brands.
Her bold and exuberant floral styling has been translated into fabric as well as wallpaper, partnered with Clarke & Clarke in the UK and available through Duralee in the US, and used here as a tablecloth.
Bright handled flatware is blooming with colorful tulips. . .
And napkins are folded as vibrant flowers, blooming in mugs.
For blooming mugs, two napkins are folded in half lengthwise and stacked, then rolled into flowers.
Kim Parker® Tulips pattern for Gourmet Basics by Mikasa is crafted of porcelain, microwave and dishwasher safe.

How so very, very beautiful…..A most fabulous design and love that you are able to purchase the coordinating tablecloth and silverware….I love the bright and bold colors. Mary, you are such a magnificent stylist! You always have such creative ideas…Have to borrow that idea of the napkin folded like a rose/flower in the cup!
Have a great day!!!
Such a bright, colorful and happy tablescape. Love the centerpiece and how it brings everything together. What a clever idea with the napkins folded into a floral filler for the cups. You are just so talented and we are so lucky that you share your creativity with us!
What a joyful table you’ve set! The centerpiece you created is so harmonious with the Kim Parker pattern, and the tulip shaped napkin is the icing on the cake!

What a happy table, Mary! Anyone being a guest on your porch could not help but be in a cheery mood while looking at your tablescape. The blooming napkins are such a cute touch and so easy, and your centerpiece complements the table so perfectly. Thanks for a beautiful start to my morning!
Mary, such vibrant blooming colors. I love floral patterns because they are so happy! You have done a beautiful job with the Mikasa dinnerware, tablecloth…and the blooming napkin fold is the icing on the cake! Happy Monday, Pam @ Everyday Living
So pretty! Your mention of Duralee makes me miss the outlet we had here. All the fabric was 3.50 a yard and the $1.00 a yd bargain bin provided many tablecloths for me!
A beautiful table!
I love Kim Parker’s designs! I have Emma’s Garland from Spode and Woodland Floral from Mikasa. I debated long and hard with myself whether to choose Tulip or Woodland Floral because I love them both!
Fabulous centerpiece that could not be better to accent the Mikasa pattern. Stunning tulips and I love your container too.
Only you would think of the piéce de resistance with the rose napkin fold.
How fabulous to have a tablecloth to match the dinnerware exactly!!! Just beautiful & how you found the perfect shade of flowers to go on the table is beyond me. I so wish I had your “eye”, Mary!!
Wonderful tablescape!
so vibrant and fun, i have only seen blue and green for months! finally have time and bandwidth again, thanks to you and just one damned thing after another series eating up all my mbs! off to catch up on all i have missed, i am sure i will leave angry and jealous, between you and mlw i am sorely missing having the abundance of a colorful garden :-( and dishes at my fingertips!
Your table is beautiful and the centerpiece is breathtaking! I really did gasp at the first picture! When you say “grocery store” do you mean like Trader Joe’s? My grocery store never has such beautiful flowers! I am going now to see about getting that flatware, it would go with many of my dishes!
Your table is so bright and happy, Mary! Anyone would love to sit here for a luncheon on a summer day. Every since I saw a bed of orange tulips this Spring I have been attracted to this color. Your centerpiece is gorgeous! Linda
Okay, I’m awake now! So colorful. The flower arrangement is just stunning!!
