What fun….those poochies look like they’re really enjoying the adventure!!
Loved seeing your sweet hubby…why don’t we ever see YOU??
Thanks for the link & info on “sun dog”…I learned something new from you, as usual.
Chloe and Gracie look so happy scampering to get out on the boat and enjoy the wind on their cute faces. Thanks for sharing the sun dog sky, Mary, which I never knew about. It’s a beautiful nod to an end of a lovely day.
HI Mary! They are so darling! They know how to poise for a picture – just naturals! Wish I could hold them. Buddy would love them too! The lake is beautiful and the sun dog picture is like a mini rainbow! Thanks for the information. Yes, we are enjoying our summer and it’s moving too fast. Still have to get to our beach. LOVED boating / pontoon-ing on Houghton Lake which is just a bit smaller than your lake. You are so lucky to be able to go out anytime you want. Your red bench is beautiful, matches your window box perfectly! Getting caught up on the blog -been super busy this week – glad the weekend is here!
I miss pontooning SOOOO much! Thanks for taking us along on your trips! My FIL’s dogs LOVED the pontoon rides too. The captain and his first mate look great:) Have a great weekend.
I have never seen such a look of bliss as is on Chloe’s face in the captain’s lap! Rain or shine, your sun dogs are always a bright spot in my day- hope you get to boat this weekend!

It’s good for the soul to see the family peaceful and relaxed in this very corrupt world. Take the time to be thankful for the peace and tranquility God has given you. Thanks for sharing..
Really, really enjoyed your pics today. Your two girls are adorable! I have two Bichons also and I know they would love some time on the water like this. What fun!!
Happy Weekend to you, the captain, and the girls. Early mornings on the lake were always my favorite. Things were quiet, still, and usually not crowded. Enjoy the water!
I just love your dogs Mary. They are the cutest and they sure like a ride in the boat.
Enjoy your weekend. We are getting ready for a HOT HOT week ahead, which I don’t look forward to. This weekend is delightful.

SO happy to see Chloe and Gracie enjoying the pontoon ride! We haven’t used our boat much this year either…not quite sure why…except it has been unbelievably HOT and HUMID for us here in Northern NY! I cannot even imagine what it has been like for you! I love how much your girls enjoy the boat and the lake air. My two are the same! Happy Sunday to you! Hugs to the girls!
Thank you for sharing pictures of Chloe and Gracie enjoying themselves. They are so precious. It’s too hot for our Shortie (beagle/corgi mix) to be outside so she stays in where the air-conditioning is and close to my husband. He is recovering from his second surgery of the summer. Your lake is so beautiful and I had never heard of a sun dog rainbow. May you, your hubby and the girls enjoy the weekend.
Adorable! Glad you were able to go out. We’re suppose to have a major heatwave later this week and we’ll be up at the cottage with the air on and won’t be out in our pontoon unless we want to cook ourselves in the heat.
A perfect outing, glad you took the time to have fun on the water. Summer passes us by way too soon.
Mary,
Thank you for this post I have been waiting to see “the girls” as it has been awhile. They look like they had a great time.
I Chloe and Gracie have it made! Lucky dogs!🤗🌴😎

So happy to see Gracie and Chloe! We stayed home from the lake this weekend because of stormy weather *sadface*

Looks like everyone is having a great time Mary! Although I do have to say I think The Girls are just a teeny~tiny bit spoiled… (as they should be:@)
Such sweetness….
My word, these are just the sweetest dogs. Love the “smiles.” Thanks for sharing.
What joy to share through the faces of the pups. Thanks for sharing those precious moments

The girls seem so very happy when they are cursing the lake! Always enjoy seeing those cuties!

Just love your little poochies! I have a bichon/poodle mix. They are the best dogs.
Finally got to visit our friends on Lake Norman this past June. What a beautiful area. You live in paradise :)
Those little muffins must get so toasty with their thick fur, I love how the boat devote matches them ;-)
I am so sick of auto spell changing my words, can you ever guess what I was really saying on several comments? I notice after the fact…
Reminds me of a great trip we did on a narrow boat in England with 7 people and a dog.
