My friend is a great Tea Party Hostess, she is always making special treats. During the winter months we will visit our local tea house for a Tea Party. Nice giveaway!!!!
Lovely photos . Wish I could enter your giveaway but alas I live in England. My daughters friend has her own tea blending company( Birdhouse). They have lovely flavours & the leaves are so pretty – some have edible flowers in them. I shall content myself with a nice pot of Peace Gardens.
Oh my goodness your photographs are such a feast for the eyes! My favorite tea if from David’s Tea and It’s called Forever Nuts. It combines flavors of almond, apple and cinnamon and it steeps hot pink! Add in some coconut milk, sweeten to taste and it’s a wonderful iced drink concoction that looks as pretty as it tastes! Perfect for any girl gathering. I intend to make those mini flower tartlets- too cute to resist.
Small shortbread cookies would be my favorite tea time treat.

My favorite tea treat is the traditional scones with clotted creme and strawberry jam. My favorite place for team is the Dorchester Hotel in London.

Thank you for your lovely topic this morning! This is something near and dear to my heart. I am not a coffee drinker (don’t hate me), but I do love my tea. Orange Pekoe & Twinings English Breakfast are among my favorite. I also enjoy scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserves…YUM!
Some of my favorite memories that I hold dear to my heart were shared over a cup of tea. Many years ago my sister was staying with me while house hunting for a move from Texas to NJ. We would both end up in my kitchen at 2am neither of us being able to sleep. Tea and conversation would follow for the rest of the week at the same time. Last year we were on vacation in Nantucket to celebrate her son’s wedding, needless to say, the first one up put the kettle on and had everything ready for when the other arrived. We would plan our day and all the places we wanted to go. Now, each morning a text will go out “…are you ready for tea and chat?” This is how we both start our day. We attended The Mansion in May event a couple years ago in NJ followed by lunch at a cute tea room. We are always on the look-out for a wonderful tea room. We meet for lunch dates often and the first thing ordered is Iced Tea with lemon. Is there anything better than sharing special moments with a sister over a wonderful cup of tea? It’s more than just tea; it’s the ritual, the fragrance, the relaxing, the secrets to be told and memories to be made. :)

Your posts just make my day. My favorite tea treat is a scone.
Tea parties are the one of the best luxuries of life. I love to see all your Fitz and Floyd items and transfer ware, they’re something I always try to pin, I’m so looking forward to trying the mini flower tartlets.
I love mint tea!
I throughly enjoy your post and can’t wait to open it. I like watching how your potting shed changes and your beautiful table scales and your adorable puppies. I used to have small tea parties with my granddaughter (usually juice and crackers) but I now live 2 1/2 hours away. I miss them so. One of my favorite teas is just plain Lipton but sometimes I enjoy a raspberry tea. Thanks so much for a chance to win a book which I shall share with my granddaughter.
Hi Mary, Thank you for a great giveaway! As tea is my drink of choice, I absolutely loved your post today…and a tea party with the Novel Balers…what could be better. So, in keeping with your giveaway rules, I must tell you that my favorite kind of tea is currently “Tower of London” from Harney & Sons. It is my morning tea and I have been drinking it for quite a while now.
Ooh Mary, you should write your own book and include your own beautiful photos! I loved the first photo with the teapot and cups reflected in the silver teapot! Hmmmm…there are so many teas that I love, that I can’t choose and too many treats, but I do love a yummy scone. I must make those rose beef bites soon! Aren’t they adorable??!! I want to come to a tea party at your house!

I love petit fours for a special Tea! Here in the South, we can find reasons to host Teas for any reason – bridal shower, baby shower, girlfriend time together!
Love this post. Really, all of your posts are wonderful Thanks for such a special give-away.
My favorite tea I discovered over ten years ago while visiting my son who was studying in London. We went to high tea at Kensington Palace (where Princess Diana lived) in Queen Victoria’s gorgeous Orangerie. Everything was fabulous, but the orange tea made from the orange trees all around us was wonderful. I wanted to purchase some to take home but the supply is limited to having enough to serve there. I’ve tried other orange teas, but nothing is quite as good.
Beautiful pictures!! Everything looks amazing. 😀
I love the Mad Tea Parties each year! Everyone is so creative and the accoutrements so pretty! Love your lavender pot and cups. My favorite tea is Ceylon. Like love in a cup <3 My favorite go with would be lemon and lavender scones. Yum!
I bought Angel's The Victorian Tea Party Book a couple of years ago and love it! Hope I win another one!
I love giving tea parties. I love all things lemon curd. I make small cranberry scones and serve with tiny pots of delicious, tart homemade lemon curd and small tea sandwiches with water cress and cream cheese or cucumber sandwiches. Oh such fun. I shared this fun page on Facebook and Pinterest. Throwing a tea party is such fun because it doesn’t happen much these days and ladies feel so special, it seems, when they are invited and enjoy one! So up my alley!
Also love all your posts and pictures. You sense of decorating the shed and outdoor dining are my vision, only they are executed by you instead of me. So I am living vicariously through you. Thank you.
And one more thing: I collect antique beautiful tea cups and pots. I love my collection and use them for tea parites. Granddaughters love tea party birthdays and I have beautiful things to make a lovely setting. Too fun!

I enjoy your website so much! The time and thought that goes into your posts is incredible! I had to respond to your Tea giveaway today because tea time was always such a special part of my day with my mom. When she got married, she had a teacup shower. And when I got married, she gave me all of her tea cups and then some more that she bought at estate sales. Everyone of them is different. When I have dinner parties, my friends love choosing their own cup! And since my children were very young, they took part in our after dinner tea ritual. My favorite tea is Earl Gray, but really, I love them all. My favorite thing to eat with tea is any kind of butter cookie. Thanks for your generosity and inspiration!
My favorite tea is Blackberry Sage.

My soul just had replenishing drink of water. You are such an artist and have blessed so many of us by sharing your talents.
I love tea cozies! I have a large collection of them in different sizes, in all kinds of patterns. The one on my breakfast table right now is from Cornwall and has a knitted seagull on top. It sits on very festive, dark periwinkle blue and white scalloped waves. Darling! I change them according to my moods and of course, the seasons.
I drink Barry’s Irish tea most mornings and right now I’m into Tasha Tudor’s Tea in the afternoons. It comes in an adorable tin.
What a lovely post and give-away! Your pretty photos always make my morning delightful! I love to have tea parties with my 3 yr old granddaughter and keep a supply of lavender sugar cookie hearts on hand to go with our favorite Moroccan Mint tea! Shared/Liked on Facebook and pinned!
You just outdo yourself with each post! If I happen to be somewhat “down” – reading your post just makes me feel better. The selection of teas that are available now – makes it difficult to choose which to buy. I am partial to peach tea for hot tea. Keep up the good work . . . you are much appreciated!
Starting the day with your blog posts is uplifting and inspirational ~ a pretty and positive read in the mornings. I so appreciate your creativity and energy. A lover of things savory ~ mini quiches star on our tea table. I keep a variety in the freezer, ready to be heated and served when are grandpeeps are in town. Zucchini quiche. Leek quiche. I will certainly be at your Mad Tea Table though. I look forward to the fun. It’s always a wonderful party.

I like just a strong black tea with cream scones and lemon curd!
I love tea parties and after watching Downton Abbey I really got the bug.
My favorite is English Breakfast Tea with Cranberry Orange scones. I found a segmented scone pan at a tag sale so my scones come out perfect now….they were kinda lopsided before. I love your idea of a tea party theme too 💕❤️
I always look forward to receiving the emails that link to your blog. Tea time can be so much fun. Tea Parties make the very best sweet memories for children (and us ‘big kidz’ too!) I have always created a fanciful ‘theme’ tea party for all of my little ‘grrandz’. When we lived in Annapolis, Maryland, I also presented theme tea parties that i called: “Yesteryear’s Children” .. because I own all of the original American Girls dolls and all of their clothing, furniture and accessories .. and I collect antique dolls for my grandgurlz … (o.k.! o.k.! i really began collecting them for ME!) … And I would set the table in the ‘era’ of the doll and and we would all play games as if we were a child in early American history and I would teach them about being a child from their grand to great, great, great grandmother’s lives. We ‘step-backed’ in time to celebrate a fanciful birthday, valentine, christmas (and all other holidays and seasons). I honestly have to admit I was not so much ‘born with the cooker-girl gene’, so I relied on ‘bakeries’. I have been blessed to have TWO ‘grammie eras’. My eldest granddaughter is now approaching 30 and my youngest three little grande-fairies are 6, 7 and 9 .. AND .. I would now love to LEARN to create grammie-baked goodies for their tea parties and would adore having the Tea Party books to guide me. My absolute all time favorite ‘tea party delicacy’ is your FAIRIE CAKE … (which was easy for me because I simply had to BUY an angel food cake, and all the yummy fancifuls to decorate it with and commence creating a beautiful and delicious ‘magical’ cake). I have always shouted from the rooftops your wonderful “Home Is Where the Boat Is” to EVERYONE I know and meet! I’ve posted this one via e-mails, on Facebook and my Pinterest account.
Mary, your posts have been a delight to my life. XOXO, Frannie
We are big tea drinkers at our house. My favorite tea is English Breakfast (either Bromley’s or Twinings) with Darjeeling being a close second. I often drink chamomile in the evenings or when I’m not feeling my best.
I follow you through feedly & never miss a post!
What darling tea party ideas and the blue teapot is just lovely. My favorite tea is an Earl Gray and I like to serve ribbon sandwiches and cherry tarts. Always looking for new recipes and find them lots of times on your blog as I am an email subscriber. I will be pinning to one of my boards.
Though I consider myself a coffee drinker, I do often drink tea and especially love serving it when entertaining. I don’t have a favorite, black, green and herbal teas. During the summer we drink a lot of sun tea, it’s so refreshing. I have never had canned or bottled tea. I’ve had a lot of Chinese teas after my daughter visited China and because my neighbor’s daughter-in-law is Chinese; I’ve received all kinds of teas, goodness, who knows exactly what the were!
I love all the trappings of drinking tea, the table decor and setting, using my mother’s old China tea cups, and the snacks. We’ve had the pleasure of having tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC, Canada. They walk you through the tea ceremony and serve wonderful tea and snacks.
The books in your give-away look wonderful and as always, your photography is to swoon over. Thanks for both.
Love your glorious pictures, postings and pups! My favorite tea would have to be served with lemon and I love goat cheese with figs pairings in tiny bites.
The first tea that came to mind is ‘Valentine’ by Harney & Sons, the favorite iced tea is ‘Raspberry Royale’ by Constant Comment. My favorite tea time treat… hard to pin down, but I would say that slightly sweet cheese scones are at the top of the list.
Thank you for sharing these great recipes and the fun of planning for a tea party.
I thoroughly enjoy your blog! In fact, it’s really the only one I follow. Thank you for your generous giveaway and keeping this delightful tradition alive. My granddaughter just turned 2 and received her fourth tea set! She loves playing tea party already. She’s a girl after my own heart!
My favorite tea has to be a Raspberry Rooibos and I love scones with clotted crème and raspberry preserves and lemon curd.
I shared your post on Facebook and subscribe via email!
Love, Love, Love your posts! So I just traipsed off and procured some tea books online thanks to your inspiration. My favorite tea lately has been an almond rooibos with a little cream. Thanks for the ever-inspiring posts…..I can’t wait to see where they will take me……….
My favorite tea for a tea party is Amads Black Currant.
My favorite tea is the rose blossom tea I enjoyed at the old Marshall Field’s Walnut Room on special occasions when I was a child. That tea and the tiny frosted cakes we always had with it made those occasions very memorable and made me feel very grown up. Lately, I have enjoyed Earl Grey and little lemon cookies.
Your photos are beautiful and your table settings just lovely. Now, I want to move to a flower filled lake house in North Carolina!!!
I love to read your posts everyday. I am posting, pinning and pining for your special treats that you are giving away. My favorite tea is English Breakfast. The strong tea helped me kick coffee, so now I am a tea only person. Thanks for this offer and please keep up the beautiful posts. You help so many of us escape for a couple of minutes everyday into your wonderfully imaginative world.
Be still my heart…I so enjoy your tea party posts, thank you Mary. Currently I am favoring Vanilla tea, and I enjoy all the beautiful tea sandwiches! And all the little sweets, especially lemon curd filled. I will share on Facebook and attempt to share on Pinterest too. I especially enjoyed your post of tea at the Empress and was so happily inspired to find myself there as a result. Thank you Mary for a chance to win this lovely give away!
A tart would be my favorite treat, especially if it was a lemon raspberry!

Love those flower tartlets! My favorite tea is Yerba Mate! Not dainty, but helps me focus!
I think this may be my favorite post ever. I love going to tea but we don’t have a good tea house in Atlanta. My favorite place in London is the Savoy for tea. I love Oolong tea and black currant. My daughter drinks Spice Market and when I am there I love it. It is hard to choose between cucumber sandwiches and scones (any kind). I subscribe to you by e-mail and facebook. Thank you for all these wonderful suggestions.
Wow, these are gorgeous books and of course your goodies and tables are always just as gorgeous and detailed. Those roast beef crostini are so simple and yet so elegant. I had some mint tea the other day that was absolutely delicious (when I added sugar of course!) Thanks for the giveaway.
I posted it on Pinterest too!
I have all three books, so I don’t want to be included in the giveaway. I love them: They are great! My favorite tea is Steven Smith’s Lord Bergamot. It is excellent! I also like Twining’s Irish Breakfast, Taylor’s of Harrogate’s Scottish Breakfast Tea, and we start our mornings with PG Tips (a true builder’s tea, LOL) everyday!
I’m looking forward to the Mad Tea Party Saturday!

I love Tulsi Green Tea!! My favorite tea treat is a lemon blueberry scone (yum!). Thanks so much for this lovely giveaway.
English Breakfast and Darjeeling are two of my favorite types of tea! Scones with jam and butter make a perfect tea party dish in my book.
Oh I adore everything tea! Who could pick a favorite. For summer I’ve been enjoying raspberry with those tiny little butter cream tea cookies.
My favorite tea is English Breakfast.
Oh my word – what a lovely lovely post!!!!! I have been hosting tea parties most of my adult life and have them whenever the time and energy stars align! ♥ I have collected tea and tea party books for years and do NOT have these and they look amazing. Oh please please please add me to this generous and AWESOME giveaway!
My favorite savory at a tea party is cucumber sandwiches and my favorite sweet is about all of them but I most look forward to a good scone with clotted cream (esp imported real) and a good jam – currant is my very favorite…..or a scone with lemon curd – yum yum. I have had lavender jelly with them before too – which is a palate sensation to be sure.
Thank you! Have a tea-lightful day! ♥
My favorite tea is ginger with or without a scone. My favorite tea party memory is sharing a cup of hot tea with my sister in the early morning at our rented ‘Blue Moon’ beach cottage before everyone else was up. We’d sit outside together in the morning sea breeze thanking God for that special time in time.
I shared your beautiful post on Pinterest.
I love throwing tea parties and going to tea parties, my favorite tea is earl gray. I love shortbread cookies and make them in little heart shapes to have with my tea.
Thank you for your blog, it’s inspiring and I love all the color that lights my computer screen each time. I enjoy chocolate chip and pecan/cranberry scones with clotted cream. Any kind of Earl Gray is my favorite tea.
I also love scones and clotted cream. My favorite scones are peach. Thanks for a lovely post. I’m definitely making the beef roses. I’m a friend on Facebook and a subscriber.

This post has given me so many ideas to do with my grandchildren that they would love. Just not enough hours in the day. The book sounds great. Can’t wait for the novel bakers.
Love your quilt.
I always enjoy your beautiful pictures of food and table settings. I believe for my tea party, I would serve scones with either clotted cream or lemon curd. Mmmmmm, yummy!
First, let me say the photos are just beautiful and made my day so much better. My favorite tea is rooibos and tiramisu or amaretto cookies. My first memories of tea was my grandmother drinking green tea back in the 40’s. She had a wonderful mysterious walk in pantry. I follow you daily by email and love every one of them. My birthday is next month (hint) and I would love a book about tea parties and a tea cup.
If we don’t win, we are still going to love you Mary.
My favorite tea party fare is anything with lemon curd!
Love Constant Comment-decaf-or Market Spice tea. Both are similar. Love a good tea book and really enjoy your blog! Thanks

My favorite tea is chamomile! I grow it every summer, have my now 12 yr old granddaughter over to pick the flowers, and we enjoy teatime with sweets together! Sometimes we make cream puffs too! German chamomile self-seeds well, pretty aggressive, you might think it’s perennial, which Roman chamomile is! I so enjoy your tablescapes.

I drink tea all day, every day, but for Tea-with-a-capital-T, it has to be Earl Grey with just a bit of cream.
Earl Gray is my favorite. I have it in many different brands. I feature your blog on my bloglist as well as following you in several different ways!
I have loved reading through the comments. I belong to a tea society in our little town in Maine. We take turns hosting and my favorite tea to host is a Bee Tea every spring. While almost all of the food is somehow bee or honey themed, my guests would rebel if I did not serve cucumber sandwiches. Oolong tea with honey is also a must as well as cornbread with honey baked in a honeycomb-shaped cast iron pan. It is always great fun.
Fun Giveaway! My favorite teas are: Earl Grey and Paris by Harney & Sons! My favorite tea party always includes my long time friend from high school. I subscribed to your blog & love it!

I love raspberry iced tea and camomile.
English Breakfast tea, scones, homemade clotted cream served with fresh raspberry jam.

I love this article… I’ve been looking for ideas for creating a nice Tea for family and friends.
My step-mother used to take my young daughter and I along with all the other women and young ladies in our family to the Ritz Carlton in D.C. annually for High Tea to celebrate everyone’s Spring birthdays. SInce we moved to SC, I’ve been looking for a good little tea house to take my (now grown) daughter to, to relive some of those memories. I love many different teas, but my current favorites are a Pomegranate White Tea and Orange Spice. I’m heading over to Facebook now, and have already shared this on PInterest..
