Fall is my favorite season and is slipping away too quickly! I’m enjoying pumpkin season now through Thanksgiving until it’s time to trade in the pumpkins for boughs of holly and jingle bells!
I set a whimsical table for fun with Pumpkin Owls as the guests of honor!
These No-Carve Pumpkin Owls were a hoot to make using natural materials! You can find the how-to, here.
A walk in the woods for foraged pine cones, hickory nut hulls, acorn caps along with some maiden grass and magnolia pods give these pumpkins a little life beyond the jack–o’–lantern.
Tree bark candle holders are filled with foraged acorns and pillar candles. . .
Owl napkin rings hold fringed napkins and bone-handled flatware adds an organic accent to pair with wood slice chargers.
Owl plates flew to roost at the table after Owl-oweenfor a little fall tabletop fun. You can see them at a Happy Owl-oween table, here.
And a Baby Boo pumpkin is transformed into an owl with pine cone scales, acorn cap eyes, a pistachio shell beak and maiden grass feathers.
Do you need a quick and easy owl cookie recipe that’s a hoot to make? Christmas cookie season will be here before we know it!
You can find directions and how to make cute owl cookies, here.

I wish I could be a guest at your Owl table, Mary! I’d be hooting it up over all your creativity, while munching on an owl cookie. The wood chargers add such a pretty fall touch and I love your flatware.
Hi Mary Your owls are so cute!!! I always look at where you purchase things and I need to go to Home Goods more often. It is on the other side of town from me so I procrastinate!!! Have a great week.xoxo
Hi Mary, I love your little pump-owls and the all white table with rustic elements and the plaid tablecloth. You are right–we will be needing those cookie recipes before long! Linda
:)
Mary, I love the combination adorable owls with the plaid tablecloth. This is one of your cutest tables *ever*
The cookies are cute, too, although my daughter would not appreciate them because they’re the mascot of a rival sorority. ;P
I love the owl with the bushy eyebrows, lol! I was so caught up in the handsome look of the napkins, I totally overlooked the napkin rings. Great details – all.
Just adorable Mary, I was hoping for this table, I can’t tell you how much I love your owl family! Cutest ever, the bushy eyebrows are the best! I love the plaid cloth with all the white accessories and the acorns in the candle holders, and the napkins and rings- let’s put the brakes on November so we can enjoy fall a little longer :)

This looks owl-licious! Your tablescape is lovely for Fall. I love giving pumpkins a life beyond Halloween too. The tree bark candleholders and the plaid tablecloth are perfect additions, along with the owl plates. Thank-you for another fun post.
This whole table absolutely made my day!! Those bushy eyebrows on your owl-pumpkin made me giggle!! I love your plaid cloth with all the rustic elements!! You couldn’t have made WISER choices for your table: a true tribute to the majestic feathered friend. Rosie
I love this! So whimsical. You know, at our house the whole month of November is devoted to Thanksgiving. So the fall, my favorite season, is quite long. We have separate autumn decorations for Thanksgiving. Christmas for us doesn’t begin until Thanksgiving is properly observed and celebrated. I know, we’re probably really old school. But I march to my own drummer and I resist being retail-driven, which is really swimming up the stream, let me tell you. But so worth it to me and my family. And you have been a real autumn muse for me. Thank you!
Your creative whimsey charms me every time! This table is so full of wonderful textures, I can’t stop scrolling up and down to take it all in. This one needs to be in a magazine!
