Tea Kettle Garden Bouquet and Happy Mother’s Day!

Think outside the vase when it comes to arranging flowers. A vintage tea kettle can make a charming container to fill with garden flowers.

Happy Mother’s Day! I picked some flowers for a garden bouquet in celebration!

I’m enjoying the peonies last hurrah until next year. . . *sniff*

A vintage enamel tea kettle with a sweet spray of flowers was a $10 antique mall find recently.

It’s serving as a vase instead of serving tea, with a mix of Queen Anne’s lace, lamb’s ear, plumpago, peonies, salvia and angelonia.

And sitting pretty in a vintage lawn chair by the Potting Shed.

You have such an eye for seeing the beauty in something like a chippy old kettle, I wouldn’t have given it a second glance and you have elevated it to a beauty queen! And the botanical garden towel is fantastic!! What a lovely bouquet for Mother’s Day Mary!

Like Jenna, above, I wouldn’t have given that chipped tea kettle a second glance, but you’ve infused it with new life, Mary!! Such a beautiful bouquet!! I’m always amazed to hear YOUR peonies are nearing their end whilst mine have yet to even open. We’ll finally get some temps in the 80’s next week…first time all year!!!
Thank you for sharing your pretties with us.

Happy Mother’s Day Mary! What a treasure you found in the vintage tea kettle and how precious that it has flowers on it! What a pretty bouquet! My Peonies are getting tall, but no flowers yet. We are at least 4 full weeks behind you. We can’t even put anything in the ground until AFTER Memorial Day as Mr.Frost is still hanging around. Hope you have a wonderful day. :)

Happy Mother’s Day. What a lovely combination of flowers. Somehow, I think you could photograph mud pies and make them beautiful.

Mary, your tea kettle bouquet is charming. I have my MacKenzie-Childs tea pot filled with magnolia blooms from a neighbors tree. The house smells heavenly!
I wanted to let you know that the package arrived. So sweet of you, Mary! The garden gloves are darling, the seeds will be spread, and the note cards of the potting shed will be be shared when notes are written. What a thoughtful, generous gift. I feel so lucky! Many thanks!

Mary, you have cultivated beautiful flower gardens. So special to be able to just go outside and select all the flowers you need to create your lovely bouquets.
