Pumpkin Farm Table in the Potting Shed

Welcome to the Pumpkin Farm. . .

Fall is my favorite time of year and rolling out the pumpkins in celebration in the Potting Shed!

Harvest Blessing Pumpkin plates are paired with plaid for a fall celebration. . .

I’m mad for plaid no matter what the season!

And I’m weighing in on pumpkin love. ;)

A vintage Way Rite scale is serving up mini pumpkins. The white chippy scale was harvested from a favorite antique mall, along with the Pumpkin Farm sign, which is new but has some vintage charm.

Since I’m ‘farming’ pumpkins in the Potting Shed, vintage garden tools, terra cotta pots and watering cans are part of the fall tabletop fun.

Pumpkin napkin rings were ‘farmed’ from Williams-Sonoma a couple of years ago. . .

Harvest Plaid and Harvest Blessing Pumpkin Plates were ‘farmed’ from Pier 1 a couple of weeks ago. . .

And pumpkin bowls were freshly picked from Hobby Lobby. All their fall and harvest items are 40% off.

A favorite set of woven handled placemats add some texture to serve up the pumpkin dishes. One of one of them has come apart over the years, but I keep piecing it back together since they’re no longer available when I want to use a set of four at the table.

I used the broken placemat to hang a ‘Hello Autumn’ plate in the center of a bittersweet wreath on my Potting Shed door. You can find the DIY and  Hello Autumn details HERE.

Mary, you have harvested some beauties for your pumpkin farm table. The new sign sets the perfect theme. The Pier 1 plates have been on my radar, you have styled them perfectly! I love all the fall color and texture that you have used! Happy Wednesday!

Mary, just love your fall pumpkins and décor around the Potting Shed. Unfortunately, we are still in the 90s in Tucson. Fall isn’t exactly on our radar just yet but we keep hoping the weather will cooperate and “fall” soon. Your ideas make my day!

What fun you are having by playing in your potting shed, Mary! I love both sets of dishes that you found at Pier 1. Your new vintage scale looks happily weighted down with the platter of pumpkins. Your pumpkin farm sign sure looks vintage to me!

Love it all! Can’t get enough fall. I got some of the plates from Pier 1. They have a lot of wonderful fall things. Check your local consignment shops too, they are a great place to shop for seasonal items!

You know I LOVE your pumpkin farm Mary! I was so happy to get my hands on some real pumpkins the other day, and I can’t wait to have piles of them around! Your wheelbarrow is so cute, and of course your plates, settings and all your pumpkin paraphernalia is magical!

    Lovely setting!
Those little red, pumpkin/tomato looking things inside the blue ball jar….what are they called???
    I can’t find them anywhere.
    Thanks.

They’re dried putka pods. Check Amazon or Etsy if you can’t find them in the floral department at Michaels or the craft store.

Hi, Mary. Sorry to bother you. I contacted you a while ago about using your photo of a pumpkin on an old chair, and you gave me permission to use it, for PERSONAL use only, to convert the photo to a colored pencil design. Agghhh- I’ve lost the permission email. Can you help?

    • September 27, 2017 at 6:13 pm

Hi Janice, Consider this permission and help yourself. :)

Thank you so much! I don’t know your last name, and I need it to attribute the photo to you.
        So excited to do this.

Just finished up my fall indoor decorating today but still need some more pumpkins and gourds for outside.. The temperatures outside are in the high 80s so I think I will wait till the weekend when it will be cooler. Farm nearby has pick your own which is lots of fun. Your tablescape is gorgeous. So enjoy your blog. Thankyou

Hi Kathy, The high here was a sweltering 91 degrees today and tomorrow is a scorcher but temps are in the 70s for the weekend. Keep Calm and Fall On! 🍁🍂🌾🌞

Mary, I love the pumpkin plates from Pier 1. Do they have pink in them? If they do, I want them for our kitchen! I love your table….it’s perfect!

    • September 27, 2017 at 6:08 pm

Hi Ricki Jill,The color is a cross between a pale salmon and light pink. You might want to take a look at them in the store. :)

Your pumpkin harvest is wonderful, Mary! Fall is my fave, too – as well as plaid. Your ribbons and plaid plates are so yummy for fall with your collection of pumpkins. Happy fall faves!

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have said beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, or stunning today. I would take the cash and buy pumpkin dishes just like yours. So lovely Mary! Oh, the word lovely too. That would buy the chargers!

Mary, this is my kind of farming! The vignette is so beautiful and inspiring–a garden of pumpkin magic! Those plaid dishes are perfect for the season, and the pumpkin-topped watering cans are inventive and adorable. The sign was a find!

If there is anyone who did not like pumpkins, then after seeing this, they would be in love! In love with it all….the place settings, the pumpkins sprouting from the watering cans, the potting shed inside and out with the beautiful colors of Fall…Thank you for always bringing us great joy!
