Celebrate spring at the table with bunnies and blossoms! You’ll find tips for creating a floral centerpiece using ‘cottontail’ hydrangea blooms and flowers from the grocery store. Additionally, you’ll find Spring table inspiration from 22 table stylists and bloggers.
I’ve been counting down the days until spring since the calendar page turned to March!
The spring equinox falls this Tuesday and in celebration, I’m joining a group of bloggers
with a Springtime Tablescape Blog Hop!
Look for the links at the bottom of this post for more spring table inspiration.
Floral bunny salad plates are ready to hop into spring, layered on cabbage leaf plates
and white wood chargers. Let me introduce them to you . . .
Pansy
Poppy
Petunia
and Violet, known for shrinking ;) and skittish.
A Ralph Lauren Antibes Floral Red tablecloth was freshly picked from HomeGoods
for its beautiful blooms and provides a foundation for a
spring bunnies and blossoms tablescape!
Matching napkins are paired with green and white checks and a white embossed floral napkin rings.
Portmeirion Botanical Garden flatware provides additional blooms and butterflies.
As I was photographing my table, bunnies multiplied as is their nature,
some hopping from place to place, not content to stay where they were put!
A planter, filled with wet floral foam, provides a centerpiece for the table.
White hydrangea blooms resembling fluffy bunny cottontails, join pink alstroemeria
and Charmelia from the grocery store, for a blooming centerpiece.
With the arrival of spring, a Fitz and Floyd Halcyon Rabbit Teapot
is happy to be set free from the bunny hutch,
and joining playful pansy bunny salt and pepper shakers at the table.

floral tablecloth with all that other patterns- gutsy decision that really works
Mary, I’m in love with all your adorable bunnies and BEAUTIFUL tablecloth! I want to make a mad dash to HomeGoods this week to see if I can find one. As always, your tables are a feast for the eyes!
Mary, what a gorgeous spring table on our rather stormy day. We so often think alike when we Tablescape. The floral tablecloth looks vintage and complements all of your details. The flowers in your box are perfect blossoms for spring. I love arranging blooms in a box. Your PB bunny plates are so cute hopping around with their fun names. Your table is a breath of spring and I always look forward to blog hopping with you! You always inspire me~
I love seeing your Fitz and Floyd collection of adorable bunnies, and those plates are adorable. Your flowers are just so pretty!! Beautiful table.
Wow! Those beautiful RL linens are absolutely the stars of your table, but it ALL just seems to come to life with the addition of the gorgeous centerpiece and those bunny plates. Love their names, lol. Figural tableware like Fitz & Floyd and other majolica tend to chip so easily in my care, but I just love the character and dimension they add to a table. Your pieces are collectible keepers, for sure. I really like weighty glassware too, and those goblets are perfect for this or any table.
What a way to kick off the tablescape week and my blog reading morning, Mary. You certainly raise the bar when it comes to presenting a beautiful table. Thanks!
Yes, love all the Fitz and Floyd..but can never find at our HomeGoods…my guess is it’s gone before it’s even put on the shelf…same for the tablecloth & napkins..it’s absolutely gorgeous! Just love the whole table..it does scream EASTER!! 🐇🌷🐇💐🌸👒🌷
Oh Bunny Heaven Mary! They are all so adorable!! The tablecloth makes them look like they are happily hopping around the garden flowers! LOOOOOVE your centerpiece, just gorgeous! I have been trying NOT to buy any bunny plates this year and this week will probably due me in! Happy Hopping!
Jenna
Mary I am having a serious crush on your spring collection of dishes and bunnies. You, my friend, are making it hard for me to purge my dishes! There is a word for women like you….an “Enabler”. LOL
I am going to have to scroll back up and drool some more over those cabbage leaf plates and named bunny dishes!
Love all of it! Flowers are beautiful and bunnies so cute! I agree, tablecloth and napkins very pretty and does look vintage. I need to get busy and put away St. Patrick and redo for Spring. I’d better get hopping!🐑🐥🐇⚘
Thanks for sharing your lovely tablescape for spring.
The Ralph Lauren tablecloth and napkins set the perfect landscape for this bunny paradise. Love they all have names. A beautiful hop into spring. Thank you.
Beautiful! A perfect springtime meadow 🐇⚘
Oh my goodness… Spring has definitely sprung on your table, Mary! I love the new tablecloth and matching napkins. The green gingham napkins peeking out make me smile. All your bunnies hopping about, and your happy plates are so fun. Of course, your centerpiece with that mix, is a sight to behold. I’m ready to decorate today, and thank you for the inspiration.
Girl, you never cease to inspire! This is beautiful, the RL linens are TDF! Love the teapot as I love all F and F pieces! LOVE the glassware, I have clear bubble glasses, red ones and amber but have never seen the green. I will look for them! Have a beautiful day!!
Another fabulous tablescape from you, Mary. Lovin’ everything, but those white hydrangeas are so appealing…fresh…just like spring! Smiles abound here…thank you, once again…Happy Spring, tomorrow!:)
Oh my! I somehow found your blog and it is just fabulous! I wish I could scroll through it all day – kind of like Christmas morning for those of us that love tablescapes! Any way, I just wanted to comment on how talented you are, what a lovely home you have, and how gorgeous your table settings are – not to mention that lake view! I guess I lived a little vicariously through you this morning and it made me happy.
Mary, Mary, Mary…you are never contrary and your tablescapes never disappoint. Your attention to detail is amazing and I adore your bunny plates. You are truly an inspiration as your posts are always filled with fresh new ideas. I also have the green bubble glasses, they are so pretty on your lovely tablecloth. I have a “smallish” Home Goods and never find the wonderful items you find. Perhaps I am not there the minute they are put on shelves. :( I do know each store has different items as once I went into the Naples Home Goods and it was like finding a brand new store. It is always a pleasure to blog hop with you.
Mary, the floral tablescloth is the perfect backdrop for your lovely table. All the bunnies and other decorations are so cute. Love your flower arrangements. Beautiful inspiration.
Oh Mary, you never cease to amaze me with your lovely tablescapes! The scalloped edges of both your charges and the cabbage dinner plates are always a pleasure to see at at table. The Fitz and Floyd pieces are just amazing, I am going to have to go on the “hunt” for some of those additions to my collections! I so appreciate you joining us for another tablescape blog hop!

The beautiful tablecloth, adorable bunnies, and sweet bunny plates are the perfect thing to welcome spring. I would love to lunch at this pretty table. It is always so much fun blog hopping with you! Happy Spring!!!
So much I adore about this! The salt and pepper shakers, the awesome centerpiece… and those flowers… what a talented display of joy!
Delightful! Made me think of the movie, “Miss Potter.” I would love to get my hands on some of those lovely green cabbage plates, but I already need a 12-step program for my plate habit!
Beautiful table, certainly befitting of Peter Cottontail and friends. Now I know how I will use that box my amaryllis came in. As always thank you Mary for sharing your expertise.
Once again Mary, you have enchanted us with another beautiful spring tablescape. The RL tablecoth is gorgeous! Gotta love those darling little rabbit faces. So many cute bunnies make me smile. Love the green gingham napkins so nicely tucked in the floral napkin. I too, have a collection of cabbage plates and those very same chargers. Enjoy the week, blog hopping.
Wow, you could not have found a better tablecloth and napkins to show off your bunny plates! Your table is gorgeous and it has a sweet innocence to it that I love!! Such precious bunnies, and wonderful cabbage collection- just fabulous!!!
What a luscious spring tablescape! You have inspired me yet again! I had come across that same tablecloth at a nearby Home Sense. I might just have to back to see if it is still there. It is gorgeous. Your centrepiece is so pretty. Hydrangeas are showing up in the market and I couldn’t be happier. The bunnies are the icing on the cake! So sweet :)
Mary, I apologize for commenting so late but I have been traveling.Your spring table is so pretty. You hit the jackpot with the floral tablecloth because it makes all your pieces pop. I remember the cute bunny plates and the plate stack you used looks just right together. I like the layered napkins with floral and check patterns. And your Fitz and Floyd pieces add the perfect charm for the season.Wish Tuesday Morning would get the Bordallo Pinhero cabbage plates again as I need some more pieces.Your centerpiece adds the perfect touch.
Lovin’ all of the fun bunny accents Mary! I am soooooo ready for spring this year… But I hear that four letter word in the forecast for the next two days… I’m calling it the onion snow (I did plant pea seeds over the weekend). Have a great week:@)
Hi, Mary,
I love this tablescape–as I do all of yours! But the combination of bunnies and flowers in this one is great. Can you tell me where you got the planter you used for the centerpiece? Did it come with a waterproof liner?
Also, I wanted to tell you that I ordered some of the Artland Iris glasses in the sage color, but I don’t think they are the same color as yours because they seem darker and don’t look as good with the cabbage plates as yours do. I like them with some of my other plates, but not with the cabbage ones. I am going to keep my eyes out at HG for one of the other greens to see if it is a better match.
Thank you for continuing to inspire me!
Maureen
Thank you Maureen! I found the planter with removable liner on Amazon, there are several sizes. Mine is 24 x 6. The first zinc liner I received was not waterproof so if you order one, check the liner before you use it on your table!
Mary, your table is precious, and just perfect for spring. I am eagerly awaiting spring and all the joys of sunny, beautiful days in the garden, your table makes me await it with even more anticipation! It’s gorgeous.
What a beautiful Setting for Easter/Spring. You always do a winner in your tabels..
Joan
Mary you have the prettiest and cutest things. I always look forward to your posts.
Marilyn
As usual Mary everything is gorgeous. I love those bunnies in the flowers. Thank You for always sharing your lovely things.
Marion
I am so amazed by your wonderful collection of ceramic bunnies. And putting those beautiful colorful and floral pieces with all of the bunnies, cabbage leaf plates and floral/gingham design patterns makes for an over the top tablescape. I can’t help but feel like I am in a storybook about Spring and Easter. I love the rich assorted colors and all of the details. As always, it is done with attention to detail and exquisite design.
You put Martha Stewart to shame ! HA !
So beautiful. Everything goes together so well. A gorgeous table for Easter.
Wow. That is beautiful. Even the flatware is goes perfectly with everything else!
Bunnies on lettuce leaves….perfect! Your centerpiece is stunning, full of color and texture.
Your bunny plates look so cute with the floral tablecloth and napkins! And I’m in love with the hydrangea and pink centerpiece.
Mary, I am always so inspired by your stunning Tablescapes! You have such a talent! I love the colors and the adorable bunnies!
Do you have one store over another that you feel you can find the prettiest, most unique plates? You have such a nice variety.
Hi Sue, HomeGoods is always my go-to and first choice for affordable dishes! 🍽🐇🌷
HI, I have a question that I hope you can tell me regarding the glass/ Artland Iris goblets, What shade of green did you use in your Spring Tablescape, Bunnies and Blossoms, because, I want to get the color right. I have seen Sage Green,
Green and Light Green when looking to order Thank you
Hi Dianna, I think they are light green? They weren’t marked in the store when I purchased them and they were the only green shade available at the time.
