Easter’s On Its Way: Table Inspiration and Centerpieces

Can you believe Easter is less than 2 weeks away? Me neither! Mother Nature has been schizophrenic, sending us 70 and 80 degree temperatures in February, coaxing the fruit trees and daffodils into bloom, then sending buds and blooms retreating with freezing and blustery March weather.

Despite our March weather, the bunnies are multiplying and I’m trying to keep a spring in my step!

I gathered a little Easter table inspiration and flower therapy from the archives. Click on the links if you’d like to hop over to see the complete post, sources, and details.

Mary, your tables are to die for!! I have resisted buying any bunny plates because I don’t think I can fit another dish in my cabinets but I will be on the outlook for some on sale this week..I went ahead and read the remainder of the blogs and they also were quit lovely but will always come back here…yes, the weather is chaotic here too..lots of snow this morning but it will probably be gone by afternoon…we will be having the last fire of the season because we are on our last of the logs..so maybe that will be the signal for SPRING to really arrive!! Wherever did you get those tulip plates & cups..they are too pretty!! Everything is gorgeous as usual!! 🐇💐🌷🌸👒 ps…one thing I have noticed is that no one does anything with the Easter bonnet anymore…it makes me kind of sad because growing up, the Easter hat and outfit were front and center! I guess it’s part of the changing world..but hats were the bombback in the day!!

Mary, you are always such an inspiration!! One of my all time favorites is the pair of wellies overflowing with the perfect bouquet of flowers. Each photo is such a splendor to the senses!
Thank you for continuing to spread such beauty.

Thank you Karen! I’m ready for Mother Nature to bring us some spring weather! I’m just thankful we aren’t dealing with a 4th nor’easter in 3 weeks! ❄️🌷🐇💐🐣🌺

Such a delightful post full of inspiration! I adore the dogwood branches surrounded by jelly beans in the tall vase. I have had over eight dogwood trees in my yard but all have died from anthracnose disease which has spread all through our area.
There is so much to take in here. Love it all.

So much bunny love here Mary! I was going through my Easter things the other day and I swear they are multiplying like rabbits! Such crazy spring weather, I am just thankful we aren’t getting snow! I must make some bunny bark for my little bunnies and the flower filled tassie is just delightful :)

So much inspiration here Mary and I always looks forward to your tables by the lake! I love your dogwood branch/candy centerpiece! I wish Easter wasn’t falling so early this year so I could snip some blooming branches or forsythia for a table. I’ll have to go with faux until spring cooperates and arrives in my neck of the woods!

So much eye candy! Love all your Easter decor and reviewing previous posts. What a treat from you, with an extra post this week even with the blog hop, which by the way is wonderful. My table is set with my grandmother’s dishes by Homer Laughlin (spelling?) The Eggshell Nautilus pattern, so sweet with it’s pink, blue and yellow flowers in the boarder. My spring boots are on the front porch filled with faux daffodils , tulips and pussy willows in spite of the 35 degree temps! ⚘🐇🐥

    • March 21, 2018 at 12:58 pm

Your boots sound adorable and the perfect spring welcome despite the weather Cyndi! It’s been cold and rainy here but we’re supposed to see the sunshine before the rain returns this weekend. 🌷🐇🌸💐🐣🌱☔️🌞

It is snowing here as I write this comment, and what blooms I have are begging for mercy. Your flower arrangements here are all terrific. I love those dogwood branches in the large hurricane/vase. When I clicked over on the bunnies, birds & blooms, I noticed I didn’t comment and didn’t remember it. I sure sunk myself into all its yummy details today, though. I love that one! As always, another great assortment of creative inspiration, Mary.

I saw WV was getting snow Rita and thought about you. I think I would book a tropical vacation if I was looking at a 4th nor’easter! Thanks for your generous comments, I’m looking forward to having a virtual seat at your table tomorrow. ❄️🌷🍽🌱🌸💐

      Rita,
So sorry to hear you are getting snow now. Although it is warmer here, the wind lives up to the phrase, “March came in like a lion, a-whippin’ up the water in the bay.”

Mary’s tablescapes always brighten my day. Everything is always done to perfection.

Mary, what beautiful Eater inspiration! I love your round-up posts! I ran out this morning to take a photo of my dogwood in full bloom before the freeze in the morning, and the wind was blowing so hard, it was impossible! The weather has been crazy! Stay warm~

  20. March 22, 2018 at 5:23 am

I love all of the different bunny plates Mary! Just having a cup of coffee before I go shovel before work… Bring on spring:@)

  21. March 22, 2018 at 8:39 am

Mary, I am loving going down memory lane with you today….It is always such a treat to see your beautiful creations for every season…especially the “table by the lake” … I am hoping that the rainy weather (with a bit of snow) lately keeps the pollen at a minimum!…..wishful thinking! Happy Spring Mary!

  22. March 22, 2018 at 1:27 pm

Mary, each table is filled with spring goodness. We are finally enjoying some beautiful spring weather here, but yes, Mother Nature has been pretty erratic with the weather. Happy Spring and Happy Easter. I’ve yet to set an Easter table this year, but you’ve proved lots of inspiration.

  23. March 22, 2018 at 10:00 pm

How “springy”. You have the most awesome photos and could make anything look pretty. Do you know the name of the glassware ? Recently I saw some glasses in GW that my aunt had over 60 years ago. Unfortunately, two were chipped.

    • March 23, 2018 at 5:29 am

Thank you Myrna, no unfortunately, my MIL had forgotten the pattern name.
