Assemble a day ahead or several hours in advance and refrigerate. Use the jar lids for a portable picnic dessert, topping with additional whipped cream and berries when ready to serve.

Bonne idée de dessert : fraîche et succulente ! Et dans laquelle on peut modérer la quantité de sucre !
    Bonne journée.

There is nothing better than dessert in a jar Mary, and your combo of lemon curd & whipped cream with cake and berries has me drooling. I have a lemon pound cake on the counter that needs some fixing up, it’s about to meet some berries and whipped cream! How cute to post this recipe with your announcement of the lucky winners!

These look scrumptious!!! I love when your posts turn to boating season!! We just got our little fishing boat in the water. I am trying to talk my husband into a pontoon boat this year – I think I just may have him convinced – since we can only take two other people out on the lake at a time on his bass boat! I can just imagine you enjoying these on your pontoon!!

    • May 21, 2018 at 9:27 am

Hi Ann, I hope you can talk him into it! Ours is a 2005, the new ones are pretty fancy. :)

Beautiful dessert Mary! Perfect in jars as we use them often for many foods. I have learned lots of tips and gotten so many great ideas from you. Every time I visit Tuesday Morning, Home Goods, or Pier One I am always thinking of your table settings. My husband has asked how many dishes do we need. LOL He does love the table settings though and photographs them for posterity. Happy Monday! Clara

    • May 21, 2018 at 9:32 am

Thanks Clara, I’m considering a 12-step dish program if you want to join me :) How fun that your hubby appreciates your tablesettings and photographs them!

Mary, is it an open membership? I have the same addiction..I think when I gave up cigarettes 20 some years ago, is when I started collecting dishes…what am I going to do!! Can’t help myself!!! But I live them!! LOL!! ❤️

Ordered the patriotic flatware to go with a set of 4 red and a set of 4 blue that I purchased from Rite Aid a few years ago, so now I can have a party for 12! Hooray! (I may be joining your club, hehe.) With that many guests, I will make this wonderful desert in a trifle bowl, but love the look also in the canning jars, yummy! Happy Memorial Day! We are already at the lake and enjoying the beauty! Thanks Mary! 😉♥️🇺🇸 Congrats to the winners!

Always enjoy your patriotic themed post the red white and blue so pulled together. You always amaze me. We left our home this morning aboard our sailboat “At Last” bound for Beaufort, NC to join long time childhood friends for the weekend. We are spending tonight at the Alligator River Marina. Beautiful evening after a few showers during the trip.

    • May 22, 2018 at 8:23 pm

Thank you Virginia! We love Beaufort. It’s been several years since we’ve visited. Wishing you smooth sailing and calm seas. Happy Weekend ❤️ 🇺🇸⛵️🌞
